Have no doubt Dier will play. He once tried to buy him and he speaks Portuguese.!,

He was also dreadful v Sheff Utd.. I'd be surprised if Mourinho didn't notice. He wanted him a couple of seasons back but I don't think that makes him an automatic starter v West Ham.

Gazza
Foyth Toby Sanchez Rose
Dier
Ndombele Ali
Lol Celso Kane Son

This is more of what I think Jose will pick than my own choice.

Notice I have Ali in the 'Lampard role'.

I think it has almost been forgotten that we have a London derby against our poor relations due to the media frenzy surrounding our new manager, and so with that in mind I think we will see a reaction from the team and so predict we will win.

Dier will be a certain starter isn't he? Will kill this goblin in the middle of the park.

I expect, sissoko to be out of the team for a while imo

He has been behind what's made us good in the last 12 months but he has tactically he is chaos

Now that Jose is in and assuming Jan & Ndombele aren't fit, I think we'll see.

Gazza
KWP Toby Sanchez Rose
Dier Sissoko
Son Eriksen Dele
Kane

Subs: Austin, Aurier, Foyth, Sessegnon, Winks, GLC & Lucas

Gazza

KWP Toby Sanchez Rose
Dier
Lo Celso Winks
Lucas Kane Alli

I think we will see the players who have been in full training last couple of days but if son & ndombele are fit and ready I would like to see them being introduced.

Think we will see a flexible shape changing between 433 without possession and 4231 in possession.

Gazza
Aurier Toby Sanchez Rose
Alli Dier Winks
Lucas Kane Son

Austin, Davies, Foyth, Sissoko, Eriksen, Lo Celso, Tanganga.

Only position I'm unsure on is RB it could be any or Aurier, Foyth or KWP. It wouldn't surprise me if Jose picks KWP.

Alli will break forward in possession, I think when fit Ndombele replaces Winks. Lo Celso and Moura will be fighting to claim the slot on the right.

Cant see players arriving back later (Sess & Skipp) or returning to fitness (Jan & Ndombele) going in yet.

Just watched the full video of '48 hours of JM' put out on club youtube. This also included some extended training footage

I saw Kane, Lucas, Dele involved together with Rose, Dier, Lo Celso and Sissoko. Son wasnt seen, may be he arrived late from International or just wasn't part of the footage

Footage was interesting in that, 2 types of work done...
i) Kane laying of the ball for the incoming MF to shoot on goal
ii) Forwards running beyond defense from cross field long balls from Sissko & LoCelso and shooting

Ofcourse, we cant just going some random footage.
Regardless, Based on this video , predicted line up is

Gazzaniga,
Foyth, Toby, Sanchez, Rose,
LoCelso, Dier, Dele/Sissoko,
Lucas, Kane, Son.

After seeing and hearing the interaction between coaches and players on the training field I would not be surprised to see Tanganga start .

Regardless of who starts and what formation we adopt, the most visible change will be the level of work ethic and drive.

Don't believe we'll see too many surprises here so i'd imagine we will revert back to the tried and trusted initially.

Assuming no Verts or Ndom, i think the team will be:

Gaz
Aurier, Toby, Sanchez, Rose
Dier Sissoko
Moura Alli Son
Kane

If the two are fit then i think they'll come in for Sanchez and Sissoko.
