A lot of it is down to injuries but the fact every starting lineup I can think of involves Sissoko starting is a bit of a joke. With KWP not ready to start (according to Poch) and if everyone is still out injured including Trippier it'll be:

We have no one experienced to bring on in an attacking capacity besides Vince. Cant do anything about injuries but it's an absolute disgrace that yet again we go into a season completely unprepared. Our depth was shocking last season and uts even worse now. Plus, we dont have a fit right back now either.

The current market prices for a decent footballer is currently a disgrace.

We came second last year on a team with a sixth place (AT BEST) budget. We can't compete in the market with the teams around us. The market is inflated. We don't do business when the market is inflated like this, we can't afford it - we can sell, and get 50mil for a 30 mil player, but we sure as hell can't buy someone who is going to go into our first 11 as a starter at the moment for anything less that 35 million.

In a week, we can. At the moment, we can't.
