We could then let Gomes and Cudicini leave, kept old man Friedel as number 3.

Butland needs to play, if we get Lloris he'll just stagnate.

If we stick with Friedel then Butland would work towards taking over twelve months from now.

Thibaut Courtois is lucky to be out on loan (Chelski), he'll have to leave next summer because Cech got a new contract.

He would go out on loan for the coming season, you buy youth cheap, develop it and it's worth a lot more. Waiting will double his price in a year and then we will still be looking for a back up to Lloris if we eventually get him.

Wow
Bellamy and Giggs barely saw the ball, giggs was terrible in possesion! outclassed and outPACED
bellamy was nothing but a passanger, side from a offside moment, overall, seems pretty pitiful on TEAM GB
all things considered in an ideal world pearce would be let go quickly before the olympics kick-off
sadly, won't happen, in the mean time, letssit back and watch the sublime brasil (-mano)
lucas & hulk played well, they would do ok in the prem

Oh and pearce in too deep, out of his depth, a braidead imbecile with no tactical knowledge yet aquired
somebody inform me what this man has achieved in management ?! .. .. .. But given coaching roles left/right WOW
let alone does he know how to deal with brazil !

He got toasted by Lucas as well.

Not convinced by Caulker from what I've seen. He has the 'Ferdinand' look about him but I fear it's more Anton than Rio atm.

He has been outstanding at every level he's played, and Swansea would love him back. Struggling against that Brazil side is not the end of the world.

And he was much, much better than Tomkins or Richards.

Lol looking at the squad again we really do look shit.

Oh and Stuart Pearce is a wanker and has pretty much taken the shine off of this for me.

Pretty heavily linked with the English national team when it comes to football though. I guess it's consistent with the other athletes though. Maybe the England team should have a new anthem.
I predict a riot?
