Bobby/new striker

Id like to see what Milos can do as DM, same with Alli and Pritchard as i think the PL is too big a step up from the lower leagues for them from the off.

I'd like to see us play our strongest team, with maybe the exception of a couple of players in each match, in the Europa. If we want to win the competition we should set out to win it from the start. Playing a heavily weakened team in the group matches devalues the importance of the competition to the club and gives us the wrong mentality it the games we play. A team consisting of 8 or 9 of our strongest 11 plus giving an opportunity to a few guys who have impressed in training is the way to go and creates enough competition for places that our players can't afford to not take it seriously.

In the Cup games it would depend on the opposition but invariably if you play a weakened team you come unstuck sooner or later.

Let's face it. As a club, our best chance of winning anything is the various cup competitions, and we should priorities these.

Group stage is okey to use our depth, want full strenght in knock out stages
We need the games to keep everyone happy and in form, to develop young players
And to not tire out the first choice XI

Yeah, for group stage, its about using depth. Maybe a few key players get a bench spot for home games, but I am not taking Kane, or Eriksen, or Bentaleb and maybe a couple of others on any road games.

I like the idea of playing many youngsters in the early stages. Like Kane last season it can be an opportunity to get into the 1st team.

But this is why I advocate signing the likes of Cambiasso so much. Having 3 experienced players with a genuinely top attitude alongside the youngsters would benefit them no end.

First, we need to know the league XI, so we know who to rest and who needs playtime. I'd going to guess:

Hugo Lloris
Kieran Trippier, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Danny Rose
New Signing, Nabil Bentaleb
Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen, Nacer Chadli
Harry Kane

Bench: Michel Vorm, Kyle Walker, Federico Fazio, Ryan Mason, Alex Pritchard, Andros Townsend, Shaq Coulthirst
So, for the Europa League and the cups:

Michel Vorm
Kyle Walker, Eric Dier, Kevin Wimmer, Ben Davies
Milos Veljkovic, Dele Alli
Andros Townsend, Alex Pritchard, Nathan Oduwa
Shaq Coulthirst

Bench: Luke McGee, DeAndre Yedlin, Federico Fazio, Ryan Mason, Josh Onomah, Erik Lamela, Harry Kane
