If you look back over the ITK lists most are saying a deal can not be done for Rossi and Adda and they are also saying a deal looks unlikely for Lorente this window, but maybe january (sounds like another Sandro)

Point is, we are 6 days away from the start of our season and once again we have failed to sign the main targets we wanted, mainly strikers in yet another transfer window!

Maybe you are expecting a couple of strikers before next weekend?

Yes I know it is possible we might get one before the window closes , but like I said, same old story, IF we do, probably third or forth choice:cry:.

No, the point is why do you even read let alone believe that made up attention seeking rubbish?

I know this is basically the same, long, boring-ass story, but i can sympathise with the poster - although i don't think its all Levy's fault.

Tbh i don't doubt for one minute how hard he and the rest of the staff have probably been working, however its probably more a case of players' expectations these days.

They see other players going for ridiculous sums of cash (Andy Carroll for £30m+ WTF??) and then they want the same, plus its now become so corporate that its no longer about playing for the BIG club, but more about playing for the one with the BIGGEST wallet!

Not to mention the f'ing media - Top 4 this and top 4 that, c'mon really!!?
The media puts teams on a friggin pedatstal and subsequently lowers the chances of any team out that top 4 to compete.

I just hope we have a few aces up our sleeves, because the truth is we do need strengthening - however its getting close to the end of the window and my fingers are hurting from being crossed so much!

We could have only have signed Wickham this summer...As he is the only striker that has transferrred this summer to the Premiership. The fact that other players didn't join a UK team or haven't moved means its not our clubs fault, you just entrap a player/club into a transfer.

We generally have no chance of singing any player that Manu/Chav/Ar$e wants (due to being an established CL club) or any player that signs for Manc due to their player packages.

So really of all the striker moves this summer to the prem that leaves Wickham as the only viable option that we could of signed.

And as we need a striker now, I am not convinced he is better than what we have right now...

All you do is make posts based on assumptions which in turn are based on your pessimism and negativity towards the club. Why don't you try waiting to see what happens  You are a fan right? If so, maybe you should try showing some support for the club

This is not about pessimism it is about a history.
