Panic in the streets of London, panic in the streets of Birmingham, I wonder to myself....
Just posted in Twitter thread RE Vucinic/Rossi.
"Meanwhile, Arsenal are to be offered Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema for £25m as the Spanish club prepare a move for Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez."
This was from the BBC roundup, if it has any legs to it surely levy would see him as the marquee signing everyone's craving for. Shows ambition and ticks all the boxes. It's not just modric he has to show ambition to it's more so the fans

Not claiming to be itk or anything and believe me if you want or dont whatever it makes no difference to me but I guarantee this as its straight from the horses mouth ( redknapp ) we had Rossi all sewn up in jan for 20m everything was agreed with club and player until levy at the last minute changed the deal and said we were only willing to pay 15m, obviously villareal were not to pleased and basically told him to naff off and rightly so imo, then when we got desperate at the end of the window and went back in they were so pissed off about levy changing the deal at the last minute after everything was agreed they didn't want to know.
A&C: I was told this a while ago. The numbers he quotes aren't right though.

I can't believe more people aren't talking about this as it was backed up by a couple of people.
Daniel Levy, you cost us VERY dearly last season. The chairman's brinkmanship has far too much to answer for of late, going to the wire again is completely out of the fucking question IMO.
Who's to say Villareal won't fuck him around this time and we're left with a big surplus of cash again?!
Gutted to hear that backed up, it just reaffirms my doubts about the chairman and his modus operandi. THIS WINDOW IS TOO IMPORTANT TO FUCK UP!
Just spoke to MadridSpur regarding Mata.
I asked him if he got in touch with him and his reply was:
"Yep... he "can't say". Which means the Arsenal move seems to be on."
Going on I asked "And not Spurs?"
MadridSpur: he couldn't/wouldn't say so I didn't press him. His Dad etc are talking to someone but no offer made to VCF yet. That's all he'd say.
Not seen any of our ITKs mention it, but my mate who's a Leicester fan just linked me to this about Andros Townsend. http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=74965&st=20. Apparently you don't question Bert.
HERE IT IS!!!
Text from Spurs Mobile!!
Young defender/midfielder Nathan Byrne has joined Bournemouth on a season-long loan.
Erm... Riiiiiight.
I think we can all agree that the transfer policy at this club is a joke. Like Harry said 18 months ago (and nothings changed) we have to move quicker in the Market. Premiums ar put onto values because premium clubs will pay it. It's what divides the clubs in world football. Are we not wanting to be seen as a premium club then?
From T.T.I.D on COYS....
I can exclusively confirm after a private conversation with storts that no one has guessed who it is yet.
Can rule out Pav/Rossie/Kane then I think.
Is this referring to Storts cryptic last night?
i think player storts was on about could be abel hernandez
This one....
To teach the language would produce a superstar
Peanut on COYS re this: He never stops working. He's 24/7 all year round, will be on his phone emailing and texting throughout his 'holiday'. DL is allowed a life and a family. His parents live in Florida and he's got kids at school and university who want to see their grandparents.
I can confirm one of these statements is correct the other is not.
T.T.I.D added this (via COYS)...
....GFTS
Just seen this on COYS regarding Ben Alnwick...
he is training with middlesbrough with a view to a permanent deal.
Shame they have to see him train before he signs, they won't want him then lol
Levy has a plan to improve the club, don't you worry. Scouting network is a MAJOR part of that, along with youth development, the new training facilities and a new stadium.
BEN re: luca (sic)
Don't worry mate, not taken personally
there is lots of conflicting - but knowing Levy, he wants whats best for the club so he's doing his best. The info that I believe tends to come from that angle, or otherwise from the people I really trust (ryan, BEN, POTL). Anything else I'm skeptical of unless it fits what I've heard or what I think fits the goals Levy and Harry are trying to achieve.
We will make signings eventually, it is frustrating I know, but they will happen.
Well I'd heard that the Wickham deal was dependent on how we thought Kane was doing. As we didn't sign Wickham, does that mean we think Kane can join the first team at some point in the next couple of seasons?
I tend to agree, it sounds like we know where we want to shop but it's uphill going.
this just added from waddlesgod:
but a few tit bits from a day or two ago.
Asked if Defoe was available this summer...immediate yes.
Pav considered best striker at club but is a strange boy.
They fear Bentley will end up at club for remainder of his contract as no one is interested and when he does play, like against MKDons, he's crap.
As said a million times, club are really struggling to move players on. Wages and living in London means they're happy where they are. Being offered moves up north and taking pay cut doesn't appeal.
Niko, they're not desperate to lose him but general agreement that he needs to play for his own sharpness/fitness and he's a nice lad so they understand how frustrating it is for him.
And comments on Leandro were impressed with his strength after first game against Barca. If not his penalty taking. Still very raw. They don't rate him as highly as Internacional are trying to sell him for.
Sorry got no more out of him than this.
He's added that Pav is well liked in the dressing room, and that the club still consider Sandro to be out for 2-3 months.
