I think within the club Scarlett is still the golden boy but Donley is close behind. They're very different players, mind. Donley is in the Kane mould - somewhere between a 9 & a 10 where as I see Scarlett as more of a Callum Wilson type centre forward. Williams, with looks more of a channel runner so, again, a very different type of player. There's no reason that all 3 couldn't play together. If Williams fills out then who knows, maybe he could move centrally, but right now I'm thinking more Rashford than out and out 9. I think Parrott and Etete, while good are probably being developed at this point with resale value in mind. I don't think Parrott's new found maturity is quite enough to convince our coaches that he's going to be a top-four level centre forward. He'll probably have a good career at in the Championship for a couple of years before spending the majority of his career at a Southampton or Burnley where he tops out at maybe 12 goals a season. I like Etete but he's probably not mobile enough to play above the Championship.

Etete is an interesting one. Honestly I thought he was a bit of a donkey. But getting absolute rave reviews at Cheltenham they love him. And these 6ft 5 type strikers can cut a bit of niche for themselves the obvious comparison in crouch or a Weghorst type. And with 5 subs it’s an interesting bench option.

And Spurzinho have you seen Williams lately ? He’s a bit of a unit probably 6ft and built. He’s probably more filled out than Donley. He could definitely end up with an Antonio type physique.

I've not seen a ton of Williams, no one has, because of lockdown and what not but I've seen the odd clip on the social media and seen trusted reports about his progress. He's already miles better than Antonio was at the same age. Antonio was a late developer. Anyone who says they saw what he's become before the last four seasons is frankly lying. He looked for all the world like a poor man's Traore. He did naff all until about four seasons ago. Does that mean Williams will surpass his achievements? I couldn't possibly say. Its one thing being miles better than someone else was at a comparable age and managing to maintain that progress year on year. He has a good chance just because he's an athlete, not naturally injury prone and by all accounts has a fantastic attitude.
I have liked Etete since I first saw him. He's bulkier and less mobile now than he was then but he's also more crafty, braver and stronger. I really don't see him forcing his way into the reckoning here unfortunately but for sides at the top end of the Champ and at the outside a lower Prem side he could be exactly what they're after.

My only comparison with Antonio was possible future physique he’s just naturally a big guy. As you comment I’d certainly hope to see earlier progress.

Mikey Moore is now playing up a year with U16. So he won’t be a scholar till 23/24 but hopefully see him in U18 next season.

U15 beat West Ham 4-2 Ramel Carter played for us. I think he’s playing up a year.

Interesting to see Bowden on the bench, but given our lack of options at wingback I wonder if Paskotsi, Lavinier or Cessay might be worth involving.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Toure took U18 next season. Been a bit underwhelming for a talented group and what a role model to have.

My boy watched the u18 game at the weekend, he’s currently on the physio table due to suspected stress fracture, his u16 team lost, his goalkeeper pal for head butted and had to have stitches on the pitch, so had to ply a 14 yr old lad in that game, overall he said 18’s were good, although felt spurs u18’s were a little lucky to win in his view, no real stand outs, although spurs keeper had a decent game.

shame my lad was injured otherwise a good chance he could have played, which he’d have loved!

U23s KO away to West ham in a couple minutes

I doubt this will be the formation though...
