Look, that's what I took out of it, and actually, I thought binks was being signed as a replacement on the back of that post because it's logical. I just happened to have looked into it afterwards, for an unrelated reason and found it not to be the case. The post literally used the world replaced. so I don't think it's crazy to interpret it like that, nor do I think to think that way is anything but a logical assumption to make. My point was not to have a go, it was to inform as some people might find it of interest and I think it adds context to the move that was unknown to me until yesterday.i don't think @vintagespurs was implying that binks was signed to replace tomiyasu, just that it could end up working out that way, similar to madueke/bergwijn.
I made my argument to that post about why I disagree with on vintagespurs' position, which is a valid position, but the point of the post you are replying wasn't to make something out of it, or continue that conversation, that is why it wasn't an individual response to vintagespurs. It's an entirely separate point and just extra context to Binks' move.
