obviously glad HK got the goal but bloody hell that was a hard watch, last 5 minutes aside.

Well done PEH, see the gap, play the pass.

They all need to stop hesitating, the gaps are there.

hesitation comes from lack of coaching. Teams that are drilled in attacking possession based football don’t hesitate because they train the same patterns of play daily. After 18 minutes of seemingly only training to play without the ball I’m not surprised we look hesitant.

I thought Dele has been good so far,
Sonny not so much.
Lo Celso looking sharper.
Bale skill is something special.
Harry 22 goals so far this season.
What could possibly go wrong, second half.

Front four are all looking good particularly Dele and Bale, midfield ok, PEH still comfortably our best midfielder. Defence, as usual, worrying everytime the ball goes near them (which fortunately it hasn't done much in this half).

Our best player of the half by a distance
Every pass has been under hit and he has loss possession needlessly a few times. Our biggest problem is that as team, we are just slow, especially in the center of the park.

With that said, we deserved the goal and the 1-0 lead at the half. Just need to keep it going in the 2nd half.

Whole team looks keen, it's nice to see Dele and Bale playing around a bit - cheeky nutmegs and outside-of-the-boot crosses into the box are always appreciated, but I can't help but admire Coady, the lad's been, quite literally, everywhere in their half.

Still have to be wary of them on the break though, Dier v Traore is a nail-biter.
