Got my fungus crossed for the result tonight - get through to the group stages and then the schedule may still be bonkers, but it won't be quite as bonkers as it's been the last week or so (obviously it would be even less bonkers if we get knocked out, but that possibility can go fornicate itself).

No VAR in the qualifying rounds or group stages this season.
It comes into force in the knockout rounds.
From next season it'll be in the groups too.

Yep, just seen they changed it 3 weeks ago. It was meant to be group stage this season, but due to COVID situation they reversed that decision, and suppose still could further rein it in for knockout stages

Evidently not. When I went to Tel Aviv for the Hapoel game a few years back, there were many Y*** Army banners amongst the Israeli Spurs fans. I spoke to three Israelis carrying a massive Y*** Army banner and suggested that it might be offensive. They were surprised at my suggestion although they did say that it might cause offence in Jerusalem but not in Tel Aviv or Haifa.
The Israelis are very pragmatic people. I ordered spaghetti carbonara in a restaurant in Tel Aviv. The menu stated that the sauce was made with cream, eggs and duck (????). After I ordered, the waitress whispered "you know it is really bacon in the sauce?".
Its on premier sports - all 3 qualifiers were on here. It was £11.99pm and can cancel after the game.
Or keep it if you want every La Liga and Seria A games this season (9.99 if you have a minimum 6 months)
