I think Sanchez has certainly helped make Jose's case for needing another CB. He is simply too inconsistent. Can have great defensive games. But makes lots of mistakes too.

There's such a good player there if he could just get a little bit better on the ball and cut out stupid lapses in concentration.

But he still looks as raw as he did in the autumn of 2017, and I feel he really should've developed further by now.

It must be a nice feeling as a team, being able to play the ball back and draw the oppo out without having to deal with "boooooring" chants and people moaning about negative football on the touchlines. It's a much more tactical game with clearer passages of play without that pressure to entertain.

tbf it was a great cross for their goal almost as good as Aurier's cross to Ritchie last season.

Some players pussy footing around too much...
Taking too micb time to pass or release the ball.
They press quickly, so we have to pass more effecrively and release the ball quicker.
Cut the bad pass and mistakes

how many balls have Spurs lost in their own half? or were forced to play it long? I don't see any consistent pattern of movements in order to allow us to break off the press. everything seems ad hoc...
