Tough one to start a run o 5 PL games that will define our season. Our last 8 matches in all competitions have seen us play 4 non PL teams and 4 lower half teams (2 wins + 2 draws); the last two against top opposition we lost.

I always get the impression that our players freeze against the dippers. HK and Sonny never seem to be at their explosive best and even when presented with golden chances to score we seem to mess it up (Sissoko, Bergwijn in recent seasons come to mind). Would love to see Harry, Sonny and Tanguy rip them to shreds tomorrow night and our back line to be strong and not make any stupid mistakes gifting them a goal. COYS!!!

Regulion isn't in training pics.

Obviously doesn't mean he didn't actually train but he's the only noticeable player I didn't see....

So far in the training pics I've seen: Ndombele, Hojbjerg, Son, Kane, Lloris, Aurier, Alderweireld and Dier

Liverpool looked pretty fluent against United, and if we sit back and give them all the possession, they're bound to score. Unfortunately we have a fabulous record of giving our rivals a much needed boost when they're struggling by turning in insipid performances at the wrong time.
Not saying we can't beat them, but we'll need to be aggressive and take our chances, and a bit lucky. History suggests that Liverpool will win this, though.
