It’s not about ‘give him a chance’ when you’ve watched as much football as I have and played and coached at a good level it’s easy to see where a player is at with their development. It’s just the same as saying how Hoyjbjerg after 5 mins looked so comfortable and you can tell he’ll be a brilliant signing. JC has talent and good feet but it’s clear from watching him for the past 30 minutes that he needs a loan to develop simple as that.

It’s not writing him off, just saying he’s not ready to stay in our squad this season that’s all, not sure what’s wrong with saying that. He could well come good just right now needs a loan with reg playing time.

Really hope no Ipswich fans paid to watch this. Can only imagine how demoralising this has been for them - 3-0 isn’t a terrible score line for them but even with hardly any senior players on the pitch there is a massive gulf between the two teams.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Ipswich enquire about loaning a couple of these young lads - they look like they would improve them.

This role suits gedson down to the ground, his first touch is class and his athleticism is unreal. If Jose can coach him defensively we’ll have a serious player at RWB!

have to say Jose really does know a player and their strengths and weaknesses, his football might be pragmatic and a little dull at times but he puts round pegs in round holes and amazingly some top top managers just don’t do that.

He doesn’t fuck up every attack lol but yes he does have a tendency to slow some down and he needs to be more consistent and effective. GLC in n.o10 first choice for me.

Moura, more than not, destroys attacks.
