Lloris
Walker Toby Verts Davies
Dier Dembele
Lamela Alli Son
Kane
Bench: Vorm Trippier Rose Carroll Bentaleb Eriksen Chadli

Just mix it up a bit to give some a break and our team fresh ideas.

If Poch could take the blinkers off for a minute, he would see that. He's done a fantastic job overall though, but sometimes as a top manager/coach, you have to know when it's time to make a few changes.

Clearly it's not working for Eriksen this season. So either play him in his preferred position, or drop him. Carroll is a good player, but maybe there are more experienced, stronger contenders in the squad. If things aren't working in a game, make the changes earlier etc. It's so frustrating to see us painfully and slowly mess up what should be an excellent season with a top four finish.

This side should finish third really, but I can see us really labour for fourth. I hope not, but in true Spurs style, I can see it coming down to the last game!

I'm not sure it's fair to say that this young team 'should' or shouldn't do anything. They'll get wherever they can, based on their ability to compete in a very tough league where some of the world's best players all want the same thing.

This idea that teams 'should' achieve things has crept into the game with TALKSPORT.

I say rest Eriksen and Lamela and play Onomah and Chadli. Onomah looks exciting and like he can actually beat and take on a player with skill and pace. Eriksen as we know is in a bad patch and Lamela just doesn't look like delivering a end product. A few passes and jinks but that's it. Also in CM, Dembele with Dier and if not Bentaleb and Dier..Carroll isn't cutting it.

Yeah I agree with your general sentiment here, but this is a good side and that 'young team' are good enough to finish in the top four. But only with the manager making the right choices for them. We haven't been a mid table side in a long time now, we've qualified for the Champs League before and we haven't won anything in years. So what's wrong with wanting Spurs to 'achieve things'?! Surely winning things is what this game is all about!

Team v Sunderland Lloris, Trippier, Davies, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Dier, Alli, Lamela, Dembèle, Eriksen & Kane.

I personally prefer Alli playing deeper. I think he offers more from there and Dembèle give more further forward.

The ball sticks to Dembèle and he brings players into the game and Alli is harder to pick up.

It would take a brave man to replace Walker but Trippier performances have improved and offers more attacking wise.

Defensively Walker is better but not by much.
