Not good today. Too slow and negative.

Everton are a good side under Ancelotti but we miss a replacement for Eriksen, zero creativity from PEH and winks. We need Ndombele or lo celso to step up.

Awful start to the season :(

The feel-good factor from the documentary has vanished, just like that. This has been tragic, all over the pitch.

Other than West Ham and Fulham everyone else looks way better than us. It's still early into the season and we will finish top 10 probably, but it will be a long season with some turgid football. We just have too many holes, still need a proper LB, CB, DM, another creative midfilder and backup striker.

Alright, Tanguy with three misplaced passes in a row. Maybe he isn't the Messiah afer all.

Why can't we have nice things...

That is the problem with him. He has the technique and passing range, but he is so lazy and sloppy and those last two reasons are why Mourinho won't pick him. He already looks fucking knackered.

We are fully a counter attacking side - that's a given.

What we struggle massively (or certainly from the evidence of today) is the ability to mentally change going a goal down.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Oh sorry not just me who thinks Doherty had a rubbish game... You are allowed to be critical of a performance, even if they a are a new signing.
Absolutely. No-one is immune from criticism. Judging a signing overall at this stage would be kneejerk but not complaining that he's not had a good game.

It's so Spursy to have a few good seasons that hint at potential for success only for the house of cards to come tumbling down as we sink back to mid-table mediocrity.
