Calling Lloris an outcast is misleading, but then it is the sun. He wants to go, we’re letting him. A small homeopathic dose of truth.

Does he want to go? Not doubting you, I just haven’t been too close to what he’s said. I am a bit worried that the lad feels he’s being pushed out and would hate if that’s the case given everything he’s done for the club.

Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s time we and Hugo move on, I just really hope it’s amicable.

Somewhere he said he wanted to pursue new avenues, iirc?

Makes sense, none of those were in the squad for Brentford, as much as Ange will play it down its usually a sign a player isn't in the Managers plans unless they're injured or recovering from an injury.

He stayed at home from the tour to pursue transfer opportunities. So I assume so, but I doubt anyone of us knows for sure.
And he did an interview somewhere (perhaps in France?) in the summer where he said he felt it was the right time to move on now , given the new manager and direction the club was going in - it sounds all pretty amicable as far as i can tell, it's also been mentioned that we'd be open to him going for nothing as a good will gesture but i'd assume that would involve him then not asking for the remainder of his contract to be paid up as well ?

I know others may disagree, but overall Hugo has been a brilliant servant for us. I think we should allow him to pick his next club, likely to be in France, and accept a nominal fee, or release him on a free, as a thank you. It's a shame that White and Tanganga haven't quite made the grade at Spurs.
As for the rest, there's a buyer for eveyone if the price is realistic. But they will all be here if Levy thinks he's achieving silly money.

I think it would be hard to find a fan who disagreed with this, if you look at his overall contribution. He just stayed a year or two too many and it showed. But everyone should wish him the best; he's been a fantastic keeper for us over the years.

We currently have 20 over 21 non-homegrown and 9 homegrown players in our squad. So even if we were to succeed in losing all these 7 that would give us scope to bring in just 1 non-homegrown and maybe a couple of homegrown players. However, with 2 under 21 players firmly in the first team picture and no European football this season, that still gives us a bloated 27 man squad, even before including U21 fringe players such as Veliz and Phillips.

Just pointing this out before people get too carried away with their incomings wish list.
