Shame for Orient.
While I wouldn't expect them to beat us, it would be nice if someone could compensate them, financially, and continue the good will between the two clubs.
Show the world what a caring club we are.

We have already helped them though.

I imagine there are rules preventing one club giving money to another in relation to a tournament bye. It could set a precedent for the wealthy clubs to simply pay their way through early rounds of tournaments like this.

Lot's of indirect things that can (and I believe are) being done but you can't pay another team after an abandoned match.

Play against chelsea in the orient kit. If we win it's a tribute to them. If we lose, it was orient.....

A shame for Orient though. This virus is going to cause a lot of issues this season, especially for the lower league clubs without financial clout.

Let's withdraw from this pointless tournament, let Leyton play Chelsea. They get the revenue, we spare a needless outing to a lower club. And to Leyton, too.
After all these years, and now we have a trophy winning manager in charge, you want to abandon the chance to win something?
I get that it's not the most prestigious cup and that our fixtures are kinda chaotic but it's a chance to win something.

Do you not think the players may be happy to win it, maybe even consider it the first step?

We already did. Leyton Orient thanked for the support that were given after the match was delayed and the sales of shirts.

Yes, but what exactly do the Kane sponsored shirt say?
If it's 'Feck Off Chelsea', then count me in.
