Tottenham may secure a lucrative naming rights deal for their stadium after Saturday’s “incredible” Anthony Joshua-Oleksandr Usyk fight.

That is the view of former White Hart Lane number one Paul Robinson.

Great news if that actually happens, but I'd like to know how or why our former goalie believes that.

Such a strange article. It says "by Paul Robinson", but then says things like "that is the view of former Spurs keeper, Paul Robinson". Just very odd

Yes, it's a weird one, although the reason the club brought in Todd Kline was (I understand) to secure a naming rights deal for us as he has a great record of doing so for other clients back home in the U.S. so maybe something's finally about to happen, but what Paul Robinson's got to do with it is anyone's guess.

I think Dylan Childs wrote it, even though it says Robbo did.

Weird article nonetheless.

The Naming Rights is an interesting one. We;ve been hoping for this big money boost for a long time but it has never happened.

We have to hope this is an area Levy is strong in so will get the best deal in the end. The stadium looked amazing for the Joshua fight and it is very plausible that a huge money offer will come in.

Proper click bait. It’s just an article spun from the opinion of our former goal keeper, who’s probably as close to any naming rights deal as I am.

Just read the article and unsurprisingly Robinson claims no insider knowledge.

The article refers to The Daily Mail writing about interest from Nike and Amazon.

Robinson waxed lyrical about how good the stadium looked at the Joshua fight and the earning potential. He finished up saying:

“Hopefully, that event will increase interest in a naming rights deal and maybe even push it over the edge.”

Yes, shock horror - total clickbait. I admire people for having blogs but so many of them are pointless as they offer no inside information or much in the way of decent analysis.

I'm not surprised. Paul Robinson would surely be the first to know.

I posted it mainly for the video on the page that really does show how awesome the stadium is. I hope Robbo is right and the coverage does help to get the interest firmed up into a deal.

Wow. Robbo mingling with big business and letting us know that there could be a possibly, good deal of things might happen that could lead to big things taking place possible. I can’t wait to see this unravel.

Things are definitely hotting up on the naming rights front - on that I think we can agree.
