Only at Spurs could this happen.
How many other clubs are having a new stadium built at the moment? I always feel that we are so quick to denigrate ourselves as a club. Sh#t happens at loads of other clubs but we don't take notice of it as we only cares about what goes on at our club.

Nothing to do with us, it's between a contractor and their workforce, a union dispute isn't a mitigating excuse if they let us down. I guess it doesn't affect all the inside work though so the site won't shut down.
6% over two years would probably sound pretty good to public sector workers though.

Yeah, you're probably right. It feels like with us, if something can go wrong...it will! Just surprised we haven't been held up by the discovery of a buried king!

This could happen anywhere in the construction industry. Nothing to do with the club just the Contractor. I am sure financial penalties are in place if the Contractor does not meet the stadium construction schedule.
Not sure why this is on the Spurs page....unless the crane drivers are up for a transfer in this inflated market.....call Builder Bob he will sort it.

I would have asked if Elvis was buried under the old WHL, but, as most people know, he's not really dead at all.

Pain in the arse but it's 24 hrs-pretty sure we'll cope if that's the only one, hardly the end of the world

Yes it's only one day and it's only the crane operators who are on strike so other work can carry on. Hard to judge but looks like a lot of work has been done given that we were playing there in May, hopefully we'll be back next season.

I seem to recall that the club had actually bought the tall cranes due the the length of time the work would be going on. That made it more economic to buy and then sell at the end.
