Just watched some youtube stuff of him. Hmm! Interesting! Could see him being a real problem for the giants in the Prem. Looks to be an intelligent user of the ball and absurdly quick for a bloke with such little legs.

Don Balon again!
Venezuela's best player was the guy that missed the penalty - Peñaranda - and he's on Watford's books.

He's like Lennon but with a better shot. The vids didn't really show how good his crossing was. That was one of the main things that stopped Lennon being better than he was.

He looks a much better prospect than Lenton did, much better footwork, confidence and blatantly more football intelligence.

Remember it's a youtube video showing his best highlights. Pull up a Lennon video and I guarantee he looks just as good.

Still think Lennon never reached his full potential, he could have been anything he wanted to be......apart from a big number 9.

he didn't show it in the final then, he was a complete show pony. soteldo on the other hand made an instant impact, england did get to grips with him after 20 minutes or so though.

Only ever seen him in the under 20wc final, came on as sub and changed the game, he was running the show for them great control, great technique and some wonderful passes, only a short arse but bags of skill.
Don't know how that converts to playing in the grown up game but I'd pay to watch him.
