Edgar Davids wasn't that good?

Righto.

Mate, there's more grit, determination and skill in that dressing room than the first team have had for ages.

Not that good my arse!
I'm talking about those 4 midfielders.

Huddlestone had half a good season and got injured. He could hit a ball as good as anyone, but more often than not, was a bit of a carthorse rather than show pony.

Talking of pony...Palacios. enough said.

Sandro was a destroyer. Well not really, more of a dinghy with a potato gun.

Davids was world class in his day. In his day. Loved having him in a spurs shirt but he was very very much in the twilight of his career, so much so it was almost midnight.

Things are awful atm, but please don't look back on some of these with blue tinted glasses.

Out of all of those pictured, Ledley, Keane, Defoe, Dawson, Rose and Lennon. Legends.

And I'd put Harry in there for giving me my first taste of Champions League.

Opinions and all that.

I can thoroughly recommend the extended highlights of the game, as it includes dressing room scenes and interview extracts. I can’t remember when I last enjoyed a Spurs video so much.

No seriously, I can’t remember.

Thanks for sharing that, watched the whole thing with a big stupid smile on my face.
So easy to see why Sandro was such a popular lad during his (sadly) short stint with us.

Does anyone else remember when a ball was going into touch and he somehow was on the floor, his body off the pitch, heading it to keep it in?

I fucking love Edgar Davids. I still remembered the disbelief I had when we actually signed him.

He fucking mean business. Even in this charity match he's still so professional, not fucking about. If only our CMs has a tenth of this tenacity.

I think you are right about Davids, my recollection of him was a player always a yard short of where he needed to be. Happens to all players eventually. But don’t fuck with my memories of THudd and Azza.
