Hola to all the Spurs fans in Spain! Working towards my dream of buying a pad in Spain (Estepona possibly or somewhere like it) in the next few years with a view to eventually retiring over there. Anybody got any tips or places to look out for? Good or bad?

Favourite coast with English people for a reason I assume.(English pubs and all day breakfasts, fish and chips)
Thousands of unsold houses and left over from people returning home
so don't pay over the odds and take care some houses/ estates built without planning permission
North of Spain is much cheaper but without the weather,
I like the Valencia coast further up, no high rise hotels, more rural and scenic.
Some beautiful spots just off the coast if sea and sand not essential..
Spain is full of hairdressers, bars and estate agents and the web is your first stop
to doing your research. Have fun. Adios.

We are further North near Madrid because that's where our family was.

My sister lives part of the year in Estepona, I believe the area is called Puerto Alto

Very nice, I visited her 4 years ago, Estepona is very authentic, many locals go there on their holiday.

Valencia is a fabulous city both the old parts and the new
Find an Irish sports bar bound to be some fans in there.
Valencia coast is wonderful too,
we have holidayed from Valencia down to border with Alicante region
over several years.
Are you working or retiring or what?

Used to be a very friendly Irish bar in Valencia (some 15 years ago, admittedly) … lovely city where @stoddle once lived

I live about 30 mins south of Alicante and a bit further South of there is a Resort called Cabo Roig where there is a bar Called Moore's Bar, this is a Spurs Supporters Club bar and I have watched a few games in there and if you are of an age you will certainly reconise a few faces from the 70/80's now living out here, only down side is they know how to charge, sure Levy must have a stake in it

But most cities have an Irish bar showing a full range of sports.
Recommend a subscription to DAZN which shows all Premier games
and much, much more for 129 Euros a year.

Spanish La Liga is an additional fee

There is a St. Patrick's Irish bar here, they might show the games. I'm in Valencia for work, for a while to go before I retire. I'm from London originally but haven't lived there in 20 years, moved around a lot.

'St,Pat's' is listed as the biggest (and most authentic) Irish Sports bar in Valencia. ten screens.
Bi-lingual staff, which is normal, tourist friendly menu.

Was there the other day, they don't serve food anymore but the Guinness is decent and is €5 a pint.

No PL for a fortnight so not sure what game you meant.
Irish bars are multi-screen 'Sports Bars'. Several in Madrid.
Best is the Irish Rover near the Bernabéu
