Lamela normally plays on the right or behind the striker ....Bale played anywhere across that line so .....maybe,but pretty sure it was said he wasn't a direct replacement for Bale ( how can you replace him ).I thought we bought Lamela to replace Bale…??
We face competition from Chelsea ? The same Chelsea who stated last week that their transfer business is now closed. Hmm.
....or to simply spite usIs CFC's transfer business ever truly done?.....they may hop out and make a huge purchase just because they are seemingly bored or because Mou wants a new play thing...
That said, everything around the Griezmann rumours feels like an agent(s) trying to stir the pot and drum up some business for his client and CFC really have no place for him at all on their squad....i would think the most legitimate threat would be Monaco if any of this is true.

I would hope he was brought to replace Lennon whos just lost the plot atm ....
Griezmann.....Eriksen....Lamela
Fuck my old boots!
Apparently we offered £15m despite the fact his buy-out clause is £25m!
And Levy wonders why the football world mocks him...
You do realise that in Spain you are required to have a release clause in your contract? Most of them are very high as they don't know how good a player can become. There is also something about how much tax your team pays if the release clause is matched (can't remember now). 90% of release clauses in Spain are not matched.
Thanks for the information, I was aware that Spanish clubs have release clauses in their contracts but wasn't exactly sure why.
Regardless, if true (and I emphasise the word 'if') it sums up Levy's attitude imo. Never has the strength of his convictions, if you want the player then bid the asking price. It's blatantly obvious the guy is in demand, you have to strike first to get ahead, not drip feed a comical offer in order to start a haggling war that Real Sociedad do not need to entertain.
Hmm. Very creative and mobile, but not a lot of Pochettino-style pressing, tackling and closing-down going on there... Would our manager field such a trio? I'm not sure he would.
