Who the feck is Mallinson? If that's supposed to be Maddison, as far as it goes on here I don't think we have ever been linked with him beyond red top stuff (Hercules recently said Poch didn't rate him).
I think Pochettino had a clear notion of his skills and an equally clear notion of his unpleasant, arrogant personality. Maddison is a bit of a ****.

I think he’s intended to take Eriksen’s spot in the squad. If Eriksen really is about to leave he we be needed.

Yeah supposedly can play that role. But Imo there isn't a better passer in the team than ndombele

Based on whar?
Pace, ability to use both feet, play off the right or the left, play as a striker though usually on the wing. Good in a less competitive league but somewhat off the boil. Young and has potential. Not a target man.

Not sure where he fits in at present.

Ah the "Net Spend" argument is out again.

If only we simply gave away our best players instead of asking for money - at least we'd look far more ambitious! /s

For the point of mentioning, by the way, that table is complete bollocks. Tell me how the ranking works? for example, Liverpool have spent less but are 7th.

Not to mention the reason why we haven't spent as much as our rivals over the same period is because of this fucking massive infrastructure project costing around £1B sitting in N17 that these very same fans have been crying out for.

I'm entirely convinced that some Spurs fans have no self awareness or common fucking sense but moaning about Levy/ENIC is fashionable I suppose.

Great player and bargain price but imo not an area that needs strengthening at this point
I disagree, outside of Son and Moura, we don’t have any other wingers/wide forwards that could be trusted to start games. Yes we have a few players who can play in that position but with the exception of maybe Sess, none of them are really comfortable playing there.

I'm wondering if we could see

------------Son
Bergwijn - Lo Celso - Moura

As our attacking quartet.

I disagree with your disagreement. ?. Although currently injured sissoko can operate on the right of the advanced 3 behind the striker, and if we were to use the inverted system we have dele who can operate on the left and lamela/glc who work well on the right.

I do believe he’s quality though and he would be a good option though but if we only have £21 mill available to strengthen at this point would prefer it used elsewhere

What would make you think this? We are routinely spending £40m on individual players these days. There have been no rumours or business reasons that would suggest that there is a ceiling on transfer fee commitments and, now that we have the increased turnover from the new stadium, there's no longer any reason we can't be competitive with salaries.

For many years, it has been a matter of what the club feels each player is worth, rather than an overall spending ceiling.

We also don't know whether Eriksen, Wanyama, Walker-Peters or A N Other might depart, nor how much we would get for their contracts.

Not sure this will happen because we seem to be offering 21M & they seem to be wanting 30M, so yet again there's a discrepancy in the fee.

As you highlighted.... ‘if’ being the operative word there; I don’t necessarily think this is the case but if the January budget is such we should prioritize other areas.

As we all know January prices are distorted to say the least.

He's played his last match for PSV, it's as good as done, both clubs just posturing at the moment but there's an agreement there eventually.
