Looking good, if he were not injuried....would Danny Rose have also been part of this group? or purely in the Reserves?

Although I believe Rose is still eligible, he's a year group older than most of our Academy (two age groups above First Year Academy players like Bostock & Parrett).

Townsend is a natural left-sided player, and by all accounts, a very promising talent. So, if Rose was fit, I think he would probably be playing for the ressies or out on loan somewhere.

Is the Keeper any good?!
Saw him play against the o's in pre-season, seems quite small for a keeper but done everything pretty solid. weve had a few good(prospect) keepers over the last few years ;Forecast, Fulop etc; so hopefully one of the next crop might be able to push on. it's getting to look like cesar is'nt fancied so who know's:shrug:

Button seems to have gone backwards. Janssen played a part in the pre-season Roma game at WHL and there's even talk of Alnwick coming back to play some part in the goalkeeping debate. I would like to see Button being loaned out for some experience to see if he can cut it.

What happened to Ranieri, he was meant to be a top young keeper.

By the look of it he was sub tonight and as he a first year intake he's due for 1st team action in about five years.

How is Dean Parrett progressing? He came with a similar amount of hype as Bostock (minus the scandal) Said to be the new Stevie Gerrard (not that these comparisions mean a great deal)

I;m assuming he is older then Bostock, both play in CM yet Bostock is the one to have made the first team already. Fair to say BOstock is the greater prospect.

Parrett is born on 16/11/91 say FM, Bostock is 15/1/92, so only a two month difference. Parrett turned 17 yesterday then if FM are correct, which I of course assume they are

In reality, he was loaned to Carlisle for a month, and the month is up. The Stun 'Sports Desk', unaware of this, decided it must be an 'emergency recall'.

yes well Alnwick apparently (Judging by a carlile friend of mine and stats) has been nothing short of abysmall.....and I am begining to doubt that he will make the grade at spurs, and I think he will even struggle to make the grade elsewhere unless he puts his act together

FM is a great source to use when finding info about football!
and gives you a greater knowledge of teams, players, stadiums etc...

My mates are Leicester season ticket holders and they reckon Alnwick is crap.
