Tottenham forward Son Heung-min has confessed he agrees with the supporters who have been left frustrated by his poor form this season. While Son has admitted to struggling with a facial injury he suffered in the winter, he was adamant that can be no excuse for his personal slump.

"I am not blaming that," he told the Daily Mail of his injury. "I am just really frustrated. If I wasn't then I would be crazy. I am really honest about this. I have a chance to help the team but can't seem to do it like last season.

"It is difficult. I am always watching my games back and trying to improve and see what I can do better.

"I have had some unbelievable previous years that I won't forget but sometimes bad times make you stronger and I am just trying to speak positively now.

"I know the fans want more from me. So do I. I agree with them 100% when they criticise and I feel sorry to the team and the fans and the club. The expectation has been high because I have done well for so many years. I have to do that again."

Blah blah blah. Nobody cares.
Of course people care, otherwise he wouldn't have been asked this question.
Plus, just go read through the Sonny thread over the past 6 months.
A lot of people care about his dip.

Yes. Why say shit that we all know. Lmao.
Because that's the way 24hr news works nowadays but beside that, it's the first time we've actually heard Sonny talk about it.
Yeah, what was said is a bit of a soundbite but what do you expect?

Sonny has been one of our best players and my personal favourite since Bale. Yep he’s having a bad season but how anyone can hate on the guy is crazy.

Love that he’s still here, hopefully we can win something while both him and Kane are at the club.

Very honest appraisal of his own performance. Needs to come off the bench a few times imo.

I disagree, at least he’s got the balls to come out and admit he’s having a problem season.
Wish the other players would take ownership of their poor performances! Yet they get away with because it's easier to sack the manager. Jose, Nuno , poch ..... yet a lot of the same players still here.
