You cant score and win at will, however not everyone as the apptitude or physique to react and stand up to some of the physicalities so I can understand ''Let your football do the talking.'' Hoddle was one like that but does anyone begrudge Graham Roberts or Maxi Miller standing up for him? If Birkinshaw was telling Hoddle "Let your football do the talking" do you think Roberts and Miller were guys you could say that to?
The only people I turn the other cheek to is ex wives and girlfriends, have in mind though down the line may present the opportunity to get them back in other ways.

You can TRY though. Do you know when you can't try? When you've gone for an early bath.

There's a difference between "playing in a company football tournament" and playing in the Premier League in 2019/20. You know what the refs are looking for, and reacting that way by putting your hands in someone's face, or kicking out at someone is going to get you sent off. If you continually do these sorts of things you are dumb as fuck, it's really that simple.
seriously what is your problem? Arguably our best player the last two seasons and utter disrespect....can't imagine the same language would be used with Kane.

I respect your apptitude and dont begrudge it though I think different. I think you can find many quotes that support how you think and you will get agrees in here. Do you think you will ever see 22 players on a pitch who think the same?

Heres a quote from my way of thinking, its Roy Keane though I dont like everything he has done.

"Aggression is what I do. I go to war. You don't contest football matches in a reasonable state of mind."

"Cloughie was dead right, absolutely. It was the best thing he ever did for me. It's good to get angry. It's an emotion and part of the game. It's good to go a bit mad...."

Roy Keane Honours
Premier League: 1993–94, 1995–96, 1996–97, 1998–99, 1999–2000, 2000–01, 2002–03[178]
FA Cup: 1993–94, 1995–96, 1998–99, 2003–04
FA Community Shield: 1993, 1996, 1997, 2003
UEFA Champions League: 1998–99
Intercontinental Cup: 1999

You obviously haven't been in the Kane thread cos our best striker since Jimmy Greaves is getting shit tons of abuse. And he'd get more if he got himself sent off 3 times in 6 months.
