Darren Lewis has shared how Son Heung-min ‘hated it’ when he first came to Tottenham Hotspur and the Premier League, before Daniel Levy worked his magic.

The Mirror journalist claimed that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy told the 30-year-old ‘stay, you are going to be really good here’ and he did a ‘superb job’ persuading him to do just that because he wanted to go back to Germany.

Darren.

[Lewis writes as he speaks] Daniel.

I need a favour. I need some good press about me and one of the players. How about the lad up front?

The...?

You know. Just scored a ton. Korean kiddy.

Son?

Yeah. Well I want you to tell a story about how I made him blossom, how I said I believed in him, how I always knew he was going to, err, what's the word?

Shines?

Yeah, that'll do. Don't care about the details. Just pull 'em out of your arse, like you always do.

[continues to write] 'out... of... your... arse...'

Now read out what you've written down in that pad of yours.

[Reads italics] 'Daniel, The... Son... Shines... Out Of Your Arse'

Too right. And don't you forget it, Dazza. Do this and I'll see you right with an exclusive about our new manager. Should get him in by August, I reckon. Ciao.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the Son documentary where his dad is bordering abusive?

Was it Netflix? And am I right in thinking it was called ‘sonsational’?
