It's almost as if people in football don't trust him, don't like him and don't want him. I wonder where it all went wrong.
Everywhere perhaps?
when he claimed to be Spurs through and through and left for Arsenal. When he claimed he wanted to play overseas and joined Portsmouth. When he sued them for image rights despite the club being in administration. When he gave up on Notts County a month into a 5yr contract. When he turned up overweight at Newcastle and they declined to renew his one year contract. Or perhaps almost everything since? His vacant expressions and lack of insight on TV, his political aspirations, his outrage at the mansion tax, his support (if you can call it that) of fox hunting because of the clothing and the banter.
He's ridiculous. Completely unaware of how people see him and comes across as a complete phony. Almost like OJ Simpson if anyone has seen that ESPN 'OJ: Made in America' documentary. Totally forgotten his roots, pretending to fit in with a sector of society he isn't really part of and trying to be the same as them without any understanding of who he really is.
If he showed some humility, got on with working somewhere (I read he's asst with Trinidad & Tobago?!) and proving himself to be worth the bother instead of complaining in the press like he's owed a living because he once played football then, maybe, a club would give him a chance.
If he's serious about taking a non-league job for free he should give the guys at Leyton Orient a call. They've had a really awful time over the last season with relegation and almost going out of business and I can imagine the lift it would give them knowing that they still aren't desperate enough to want him anywhere near the club.
Do they need someone to sell programs at the turnstiles?
he really is just such a strange person. Sometimes I genuinely think he has some sort of mental condition he's so deluded
Hang in there Sol. Even Donald Trump became President and he knows all the words.LOLS

Campbell, 43, said: "I did go (for the job) and they didn't accept me. Maybe it was a lack of experience things like that blah blah blah, but it's a full circle. Experience? How do I get experience when I need a job to get experience?
"I don't want to go too low that it's a struggle and I don't want to go too low that I'm under someone and thinking 'what am I doing here?'
"I would rather be managing a club myself. I'm confident and it's not like it's rocket science to run a football club especially when you get to that level.
"If you're intelligent enough and a quick learner you will learn pretty soon within two or three games what the team needs training wise to survive in that league, to get better, to get in the play-offs or even win the league.
"I'm intelligent enough, it's not like I played on a fox and dog pitch all my life.
"I can't believe some people, I'm one of the greatest minds in football and I'm wasted because of a lack of experience or maybe he talks his mind too much."
Instead, they are said to be appointing Craig Bellamy.
