I want Ronnie to win this to equal the seven from Hendry but I do like Trump although I get really irrationally annoyed by his erm 'bow tie' although I dont mind a bit of uniqueness

Gotta feel sorry for Trump out there. He looks like a broken man. Hopefully he can come back in the first session tomorrow, pick up a bit of form, and make it more of a contest.

Don't care about the spectacle of this particular final, just want Ronnie to get over the line and win his seventh World title so that there is no longer even the most tenuous leg left for any Hendry fan to stand on in the conversation about the best snooker player of all time. Hope it doesn't even go to the evening session tomorrow, 6-0 in the afternoon, please.

Think he needs the eighth though... You know... To be undisputed

He does in World titles as a metric in isolation, but when looking at their careers as a whole I don't think anyone could make a convincing case for anyone other than Ronnie if he does go level in WCs with Hendry.

Judd just hasn't scored consistently. Ronnie has been machine like and just picked the frames off one by one.

Not quite over, if Judd can come out firing tomorrow he could set a platform for a go at the final session like Williams did against him in the Semi. But right now looking like it's going to take a WWF-style intervention from Stephen Hendry wielding a steel chair to turn this one around.

Also shitty comment I know, but Murphy seems to put on a couple of stone every time they go back to the studio. Backstage buffet must be alright.

I was beign totally facetious... Ronnie is the best. I grew up watching Hendry and he was great but Ronnie is entertaining in how he plays a game that is slightly boring (I enjoy the game personally).

I do think Selby will equal it though, I like the guy even though he is proper boring.

Went right off Selby after his daft strop last year (or was it 2020?) in a match vs Ronnie. On my "Anyone But Him" list now along with Mark Williams, who is one of my prime irrational dislikes.

Still left himself too much to do against the best to ever play the game.

Unless he wins the next session 4-0 its over for me.

The tide appears to be turning though - may not be enough but a lot closer than it was going to be. Ronnie is missing far too many shots he wouldnt have missed a few frames ago i.e. yesterday.

Glad there is an evening session though - somethign great about snooker in the evenings

Well he's got that platform.....

TBH don't think Judd's played amazingly, he's been chasing the cue ball about a lot, but he's managed to pot balls and had lots of opportunities to do that. Ronnie hasn't had the focus of previous days, was very fidgety at the table and never looked in control of proceedings at any point.

Still a decent lead, but at the moment looks like this could be going to the wire.

Same again for Judd tonight please.

Be great to see a comeback like this, he still hasn’t played anywhere near his best so if he can click into gear straight away tonight it could be pretty close.

No arguments now - Ronnie is the greatest ever. It’s a shame that Hendry retired as early as he did when you consider the longevity that Ronnie, Higgins, Williams and a few others have had, as he might have rediscovered the fire and form that made him nearly unbeatable through the 90s. But O’Sullivan finds ways to raise the bar again every few years. Good on him (even though he is a Gooner).
