 Harry's last 54 games have included the likes of AC Milan, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Werder Bremen. Not to mention two away victories against "the big four".

Whilst I'm angry at Harry at the moment, the first two games of the league season have been against the probable 1st and 2nd teams. One of which may have beat us 3-0 but they hammered Arsenal 8-2 less than a week later.

The final ten games of Ramos career were utter tripe. The worst displays I've seen in 24 years of supporting the club. The statistic is wholly unfair, and is actually disrespectful to our fans intelligence.

Perhaps we should compare their overall achievements for the club.

149 71 38 40 47.65 A 4th and 5th place finish, a champions league QF, and LC Runner up.

54 21 16 17 38.89 Semi final smashing of Arsenal, League cup winner. failed to complete a full league season.

Your not the only person who is frustrated by Harry, the team, and the board. However calling for Harry to be sacked is unfair and reactionary. Blame also lies on Levy as this summers transfer policy is once again wayward.

I don't think any manager could have helped us finish any higher in the last two seasons.

The problem is we haven't strengthened the team while City, United, Chelsea and Liverpool have spent FORTUNES.

Change the manager if u like but we'll have the same problems. Until Levy changes the way he does transfer deals we'll always be on the fringes of the top 4.

Online communities are amazing. I have a habit of assuming everyone I'm reading/talking with is the same age, then something comes along that shatters the illusion. Like this letter.

Usually a big fan Legend10, but your letter has a recurring problem of setting up a decent, well-worded argument, then gives way to low-rent ranting. See below - bold good and structured, italics losing the plot.

"There is no other Premiership manger that I'm aware of and no manager in our clubs great history who seeks or has sought so much media attention, I, and others I'm sure find it completely unacceptable. There's nothing worse than picking up a paper or turning on the radio or tv and being subjected to the same old drone of we can't compete, we can't make the top 4, 2 bloody points from 8 games when I arrived and so on."

Unfortunately there are too many of the latter points for any businessman of any note to take this seriously. If, in fact, they ever would. But good to get these things off our chests. There's a good point in here somewhere, lost in slang that's fine for a message board, but not an official letter.

Excellent points gp.

I agree with a lot of the OP but can't help but feel that the whole thing was a little inappropriate, for want of a better word.

Perhaps L10 just wanted to get a bit of his chest, i can understand that, not fully on board however with what he's trying to achieve with ranting to the club? Opinion across the fanbase can easily be followed across boards such as these, one angry email won't make any difference.

There's an innate problem with this.

Obviously, in reality, Redknapp's many public utterances have been irrelevant and where's he's been misrepresented the Club will probably already know about it and have opinions - although they're probably becoming aware that the concept that Redknapp is 'damaging' has become a rather destructive meme - when a madman thinks he's on fire, sometimes the only thing to do is to throw water on him.
Sums it up nicely.

But also, Levy was there at the meeting with Modric, he's kind of like a central player in the whole thing. He knows how things are actually going down. He probably has a good idea of who is acting against the club's interests and who's causing havoc. If there's anyone who can gauge the real effects of Redknapp's public statements it's him.
Precisely.

I agree that there is an embarassing lack of cohesion in the way that our transfer dealings are presented publicly, and Harry constantly making it clear that he doesn't know what is going on or where we are on a particular player is plain stupid - why can't he just say "we are working on it" or something like that. I agree that his comments on Modric have been unnecessary and just added to the impression of lack of communication. I also find his statements on Crouch's contributions incomprehensible.

But to portray the problem as all down to Redknapp in such a black and white way and that Levy is doing everything well is not balanced. Levy and the Board should be given credit for the fact that we are in a stable financial position and don't have the worries that Everton, for example, have . But Levy's approach to negotiations is a problem. He seems more motivated by out-negotiating the other party than securing the right players to keep moving the club forwards, even if we have to pay a little more than we want to (not irresponsible amounts). We have all seen the eleventh hour approach over the last few years. If it is true that we had Suarez more or less tied up and then left it "to brew" until later to improve terms during the last January window is true, that is a prime example of wrong priorities. Everything is so protracted and there is a trail of bad blood created over the last few years with other clubs that is also not condusive to getting the right players in. There is also the argumnet that Levy should be keeping Redknapp up to date with where we are with transfer negotiations - either Redknapp knows more than he implies or there is a communcation problem that is not just down to him.

It may well be time to think about who is the right manager to take us forward - but any new manager will only address part of the problem and they could find themselves equally frustrated at how constrained they are in getting the players they want by Levy's approach.

KevinW............ I fully agree with every sentiment expressed...........well done Sir.

Well wrote Kevin and a lot of what you say is balanced and correct.

not quite sure why people are having a go at levy, lets be honest harry will not be here in 12 months time one way or another so would you give him millions to spend? no would make not sense, saying that if thats the case i would have replaced him over the summer.

my main gripe with harry is the fact that you know if a better offer comes along he will snap it up, actually let me rephrase that , he is actively looking for a bigger and better offer. absolutely no loyalty. When he becomes england manager guarantee you he will start linking himself to the spain job, he has severe issues about being overlooked.

Maybe you can ask him why he's left all these deals till deadline day

Parker
Palacios
Jenas
Cahill
Bassong
Hutton
Bentley
Crouch
Dos Santos

No wonder Harry said the squad was distracted. Half of them don't know if they are going to still be here tmw.

He's done this to haggle over peanuts.

Preseason is to get players fit, work on tactics, figure out your best team, let new players settle in, create a good team spirit and togetherness.

Explains our poor start

Dear Dan

Thanks for not swollowing your pride and turning down 40million yes thats 40miliion for a player that wants to play for Chelsea Football Club!!!

Well Done Daniel good work. You also think we've still got enough quality upfront now that we've sold Peter Crouch, apparantly your manager doesnt agree.

But hey you know more about football than Harry Redknapp. Chairman and Manager working in perfect harmony!!

Write him another letter and tell him to get out of our club.

Our transfers, ramblings over the OS and lack of ambition are an embarresment.

At least he keeps us in the black. Not bad for a million a year.

You are asuming that I think there is something wromg with our transfer policy or activity which actually I don't.

The complaint I have is about Redknapp's media whoring, not transfers or anything else!

Its not "media whoring" it's the refreshing fact that we have a manager that talks honestly and openly and is friendly with the media... I value every time I see/hear Harry on the media as we know we are hearing the truth of what is going on at our club... what other club has this. Maybe you want a boring twat of a manger like wenger instead that talks absolute crap and catch phrase is "I didn't see it"... I'd rather not...

What is wrong with our manager talking openly about our club, don't we all crave info all the time? tell me one deal that has be compromised by Harry talking to the media? You can't! You people are f5'ing all the time for the latest transfer info but when our manager talks live for the most up to date info possible you just lambast him for it... unbelievable!
Harry is not the problem... he wanted Cahill, Levy couldn't agree a fee or wages, or we couldn't afford it... realise we can't compete or we need a new chairman/owners, we already have one of best open mangers there is...
I’m as frustrated as anyone about the crap transfer performance of our club in multiple windows now, but it’s clear now it’s now Harry fault...
You think Ancelotti would do better under Levy and our financial/wage structure, not a chance!
