And about how it sometimes pays to use your real name on a website:
My partner was fostered as a child and recently she re-established regular contact with her most important foster-parents and some of her foster-siblings.
But one of her foster-brothers lives in Buenos Aires, which is a very great distance from Hornchurch in Essex, so they hadn't seen each other for over 20 years. It so happens that he and his Argentine partner were in London for a conference last week, so we arranged to take them out to dinner.
The phone rang. I answered and he and I started making some arrangements. A pause. Then: "My mother told me your full name. Are you the same David Matzdorf who posts on Spurs Community?"
Turns out that my partner's foster-brother is our very own tevezito. We were made to promise not to talk Spurs for the whole time at dinner. We were good .
These things just ... happen ... in life, don't they?
