This is a massive embarrassment for the club.
Don't worry .
They have no shame .

You forgot the third option- you're shit at maths.
CrazyHeart has been following Spurs for 30 years, which goes back to 1984. Spurs were relegated in 1977 (37 years ago).

Wow, just wow, brother.
I've heard some ridiculous things on this topic, but your hyperbole is right up there with some of the most amusing posts so far, m8.
I'd like to address each one of your posts, but there is neither time nor space to do so adequately.
Thus I'll just briefly touch upon a couple of things (primarily emphasized above in bold font), as follows:
First of all (not that I haven't played football), but what does playing football have to do with comprehending football? I'll tell you what, more often than not - it means absolutely "jack" and "shit".
In fact, the man you bring up (AVB) as an example of supposed failure (in terms of coaching football) is the ultimate proof of that. He played no football, yet his insight into tactics and strategy helped him to win a "quadruple" in one of the top 5 UEFA leagues (in 1 season).
The same AVB whose understanding of football (as a child) has left quite an impression on the great Bobby Robson. I'll just leave it at that for now.
You claim AVB convinced Levy to buy the players he wanted (to implement your so-called "corporate boardroom presentation"), yet (according to many sources) AVB didn't end up with those players (Hulk, Moutinho, David Villa, etc).
As far as Tim is concerned, the proverbial horse has been beaten to death, but the following absolutely take the cake -->>
Just ...
I'm sorry m8, but quick lateral thinking is not one of Tim's qualities...It just isn't.
Really now?
"Tim managed to get the team going backwards, and will hopefully get the heck out of our club in a timely manner".
No, no, and no! Tim is simply of our great Spurs!
COYS!
For the last time I said Tim's Spurs, I'm not doing a player to player comparison. He'd be out smarted by de Boer, like he was by Fat Sam with his inferior team
Seriously, if that post of yours is how you view TS's system then you and I are not watching the same matches.
In what games have we dominated possession? In what games have we had our wingers providing natural width? We have Lennon as Eriksen provides no width at all. Rose does his best, but by doing so leaves gaping holes on the left hand side.
Is this his system? Seriously? Honestly? Is this what you perceive his system to be? If it is, we are f**ked as we will never progress past beating the teams with slightly worse players than us because of the individual skills (ie Eriksen) of our players as opposd to the system working
As of for the injuries, if we are having problems in one area you don't just ignore them in the hope that it will sort itself out. If we have a lack of natural CB because of injuries, play a DM to provide solidity in front of them. Don't just ignore it and hope that Eriksen will score another free kick.
The insight from you was wonderful; it read like it was written by TS himself. Personally I think it's the Emperors new clothes: you think it sounds/looks good; in reality, there is nothing there.
I don't get it. Without a system, how do we win matches?
What was Harry's system when he took us to the Champions league quarter finals? Fackin run around a bit?
What is the system? Give the ball to Eriksen?
Tim Sherwood, the manager, deserves to be sacked. He has proven to be wanting in several areas of club leadership. For the sake of the club, it is time to move on.
Tim Sherwood, the man, does not deserve all the vitriol that is thrown his way. I am sure it pains him that things did not work at better. I don't doubt that he gave his best effort - despite that effort not being enough.
As a fan, that is all I really expect out of players and managers - give your best effort, and care about the team as much as I do. I think TS did what he thought was best to help the club (many may disagree with what he has done, but that is a separate discussion), and I think he cares about Spurs.
So, while I anxiously wait for news of the new manager ( better be de Boer ;-)), I take no joy in watching TS get hung out to dry. Levy should have had a discussion with him, where they both could acknowledge everything did not go as well as they had hoped, and agreed to move on at the end of the season. It seems the whole football world knew Tim's fate, yet he deserved to be told face-to-face by Levy.
The club should be doing its due diligence on other mangers, without "sneaking" behind TS to do it. If Levy had been upfront with TS, this would have been a much easier transition for everyone involved, instead of the awkward dance we are going through now.
:shrug:Again, TS himself said that Levy and him would sit down at THE END OF THE SEASON. He seemed happy with that a little while ago so why should it change now, just because the media are speculating.
Erm I think soYou sure on this point?
george graham?Moyes towards the end, maybe
Did'nt Sherwood force this state of affairs by Saying he wouldn't accept a caretaker role.
The man is foolish.
Instead of taking a caretaker/interim role and trying to win people over gradually, he got his bollocks out pronouncing I'm the man and proceeded to piss off some of the squad and supporters.
For me the man comes across as arrogant and cocky with nothing to back it up. We hear how he has Levy's ear and influence over incomings. He then comes in as if he has had nothing to do with he last 5 years.
He don't know Capoue, WTF is he on about?
someone on here said they would not talk and act tow ards their boss as it was disrespectful or words to this effect
well if my boss spoke and treated me the way sherwood has acted towards
some of the players i have enough respect of myself that i would have chinned dim tim let alone talk about him
