This isn't good news for Big Sam

That said, Im sure he just wants to relegate Newcastle

Allardyce won't give a toss, he's leaving (or more precisely West Ham have got too big for their boots and aren't renewing his contract, in the belief they can get someone better) at the end of the season too!

Good man. Would love Teddy back at the lane in some capacity.

The favourite for the job is Rafa, but he would be a fool to go there

Decent opportunity for Teddy, but Stevenage will never have the biggest budget/resources and its a real scrap in that league!

Would just love him to do well, would love a Tottenham man in charge of us. He certainly has the intelligence for the job and if rumours are true he is a very good attacking coach. Dream would be kick of at the new stadium Teddy in charge.

He seemed to do a good job at West Ham. A lot of their early season goal scoring was credited to the work he is was doing.

If he is half as intelligent a coach as he is as a player he will be a top manager.

Apparently Ancelotti has sacked from RM and Rafa is the new guy there.

I'll say this, I'd be absolutely furious if the spammers got Ancelotti or Klopp.

Every one had him down as a potentially great manager. Really hope it goes well. He definitely has the tactical brains.

Sounds familiar...

Nice to see Sheringham take his first managers job today

Can't help thinking he will do well and this is the first step to one day being Spurs manager

Must say im surprised to see Teddy step into Coaching / Management. Not that I think he hasn't go the tactical brains or anything its just that I always pictured him living out his retirement shagging birds in Marbella.

I hope he earns his experience down in the Football League like Hasselbaink hasn't been afraid to do and works his way up the leagues. One of my favourite ever players so really hope he does well.
