Just gotta say, if this does go through it's a huge coup. To be sought by the Yanited and Chelskis and end up in a Spurs shirt signals a departure from our days as a selling club, and confirms our desire to compete at the highest level.

Oh and as much as I don't like them playing for us, isn't it just like an arsenal fan to tweet "Arsenal Always" then sign for Spurs?

Wouldn't be a Spurs transfer without some drama, expecting some twists and turns over the next few days regarding this legal issue.

Yeah, its not going to go smoothly. I suspect the drama will go on to deadline day and we won't get him.

The only thing that slightly worries me is the force of which he goes into tackles, but this guy looks like a beast and basically a like-for-like replacement for Walker. Bring it over the line.

I think it will go smoothly the fee, wages and medical sound all done just pending clearance from HO.
Soon as the go ahead is given this will be done in next to no time.

If he's done his medical then he's been here, so I can't see why he wouldn't get a WP. If he wasn't here how can he do the medical? I assume he plays quite often for his country which should be sufficient for a WP.

He had his medical in Paris.
