I got through to the ticket office the following day and was told it would be fine to change the ST class to "senior", the chap confirmed it with his manager and they would get back to me. Email today saying no, the number of senior STs is strictly limited and they won't change it. So pretty much every seat can be classed as adult and junior but hardly any are senior even though their price point map shows whole blocks as being for seniors and juniors as well as adults. Clear discrimination against old fuckers like me. I guess my 50 plus years as fan, former ST holder for more than 30 years and even a premium seat holder counts for nothing as I am unlikely to spend as much on merchandise as a junior.
I don't know why I expected anything else.

That sounds ridiculous to me. If enough seniors tell the Trust they might be able to raise it with the club. Don’t know another way to approach it other than that.

I’m thinking that at 84 this could be my last season going to games so I asked the club if I could transfer my ST to my daughter, who drives me to the stadium, next season and they said it’s not possible to assign a ticket to another person. I’d like to know why this isn't possible ?
Just gift her the ticket every game and she gets in on the concession price, play them at their own game

I am a senior but love my seats which are not concession.
I come to many games from DC so I just have to suck up and pay full price. 😂

Thanks for all the advice and I understand now why the club won’t let me assign my ticket. I’ll be able to transfer my seat to her from the following season and will wait until she is offered her own ST then I can stop renewing my ST. The only downside is that we will lose the great seats that my son in law and I hsve in the north stand. I don't have a concession ST I gave mine up when we bought 1882 STs when the new stadium opened but we didn’t like the 1882 seats or the price in the south stand so we relocated to the north stand . There could be a lot worse things to worry about .

I have the same problem. I transferred my st over to my dad in the early 2000's. My mum doesn't go any more, but they won't let me transfer the ticket back.

We now end up transferring the ticket over to me every match.

We offered to pay full price, they just weren't interested.

The ticket is transferred to me FOC, its easy to do.

If the QR code works for paper tickets, would a screenshot not also work? Pretty sure there’s no ‘connectivity’ going on…
Just keep the original emails. Delete the season ticket when you want someone else to use it. And get them to add through the link on the original email. I did this all last season. And had no issues. Sent it to multiple mates as well. Just make sure the wallet pass is deleted after. And then you download it again from the email.

That’s a nicely elegant workaround 👍

@Tiffers - see above from @DiscoD1882

His solution allows you to ‘share’ the pass itself, rather than just the ticket 👍

My sister and I have two tickets and ever since they've used the phone/wallet system, we have just taken a screenshot of the QR code and shared via whatsapp when one of us cant go to games and the other takes a partner/kid/friend etc. Whilst the technical suggestion above would provide some more confidence, can assure you the simple solution works - put it this way it has never failed.

If you want to test it to be sure I suggest first few games of next season, open the QR code, take a screenshot (and even send via whatsapp to yourself) and then use that at the human and turnstile scans. Thats what we did anyway!

Should add I'm obviously not advocating use for any dodgy resale practices, we will sell via the exchange when we both cant go rather than tout out etc.

As others have said, find the original email with the wallet pass link. Forward it to her, get her to add it to her phone... or just 'gift it' in the online share each matchday!

Looking at some other forums looks like season tickets still not sold out , not many left but seems a combination of negative football , high ticket cost , cost of living crisis & Levy probably all contributing factors.

I recently went to a music gig and they had some new tech on the QR code on the e-ticket that meant that a screen shot wouldn’t work. I wonder how long before that gets introduced at the stadium - going to upset a lot of folks if it is!

Yeah a hundred or so left apparently but all up in the gods. I wouldnt pay for one up there at the prices quoted when you can still pick up better seats on the exchange each match. Makes no sense really.

It does if you want to get a secured seat and then look for a better seat next year. It’s what I did all those years ago.

Like to be in on the next directors meeting when they discuss why they can't sell out something like 42,500 general admission season tickets when there are so many Hotspur members. In 2021 there was something like 131,000 members but they no longer seem to publish a members ticketing points list so what the current total is can't be worked out.
Just wonder how many premium ST's have renewed , might find the answers when THST have their next meeting with the club.

This exists and is in practice at almost every venue in the US. Stops people from screenshotting a ticket and sending it to 10 different people.

If you swipe down on your ticket, you'll notice the QR code the ticket is tied to changes... all spurs have to do is turn on (i presume) the option that only the latest QR image is valid when the ticket in the wallet is shown... and none of the others will work. Or maybe it's to show the ticket barrier staff that it does change and isn't a static screenshot

If Spurs start having an issue with duplicate tickets they could easily turn this on. Maybe it's not a problem at this point in time?

Match day ticket prices shooting up. Takes the headlines with an ST price freeze and then screws everyone else, Women’s team included. Imagine what it would cost if we didn’t have Beyoncé to subsidise it…
