When did you get it? My brother got one two days ago and there was nothing in south lower (where I sit)
Right when phase 1 first opened. Was 44th in the queue. I know how to manipulate the queue due to doing it for every home game the last 2 seasons as a member. There about 2-3 handfuls in south lower at that point.

Or, could it be that they are increasing the number of seats available for season ticket holders and reducing the number of seats on sale to Hotsour members and general sale?
From the club's point of view it may be better to have as many season ticket holders as possible rather than relying on general sale tickets??
I was only posing a ,possibility not making a definitive statement so no reason to dislike my post

I tried to buy a senior ST today. After trying unsuccessfully to find one designated as such I bought a junior ST. Same block and price as the seniors according to the price points seating map. I'll see what the ticket office says about changing the class from junior to senior, when I can eventually get through to them.
I got through to the ticket office the following day and was told it would be fine to change the ST class to "senior", the chap confirmed it with his manager and they would get back to me. Email today saying no, the number of senior STs is strictly limited and they won't change it. So pretty much every seat can be classed as adult and junior but hardly any are senior even though their price point map shows whole blocks as being for seniors and juniors as well as adults. Clear discrimination against old fuckers like me. I guess my 50 plus years as fan, former ST holder for more than 30 years and even a premium seat holder counts for nothing as I am unlikely to spend as much on merchandise as a junior.
I don't know why I expected anything else.

Sorry to hear this happened to you.
So much for caring~ the club do some great things and let themselves down with things like this.
Keep ye chin up.

cheers for that.
I asked them how many seats in the stadium are designated for seniors as it seemed that none I clicked on were but ALL were designated adult and junior. They were not able to tell me (falls off chair in shock). Clear discrimination but who gives a fuck.

I’m thinking that at 84 this could be my last season going to games so I asked the club if I could transfer my ST to my daughter, who drives me to the stadium, next season and they said it’s not possible to assign a ticket to another person. I’d like to know why this isn't possible ?

That’s ridiculous. I thought that used to be possible. In fact, I’m sure my friend had his dad’s season ticket transferred over to him at the old WHL. Maybe the policy has changed.

I think they had a one-off amnesty to allow anyone whose tickets were not in their own names to change them or to allow people who simply wanted to transfer.

It’s not a general policy as that would undermine the whole waiting list concept by meaning that tickets would never become available as people would transfer them when they want to stop going rather than giving them up and them then being available to people on the list .

It wouldn't undermine anything because there is no waiting list. If they did it all it would do would highlight that fact even more than it already is.

People are paying extra money to be a one Hotspur plus member, a benefit of which is a place on the waiting list. This year demand has meant that people high up on the list have become eligible, so anyone wanting a season ticket could easily buy their one Hotspur membership and then, it seems possible be entitled to apply for a ST if the offer extends that far down the list. It’s hardly an unfair system when some years supply has meant the offer doesn’t go the absolutely everyone on the list.

I understand why it must be frustrating for you as a long-time season ticket holder not to be able to pass on your ticket to a family member but, I also think, as a principle, it’s the right decision.

I was stuck on the waiting list for years and years and years at the old place. For all those people who keep banging on about how the waiting list is apocryphal, a myth, a Levy-created legend to drive demand….it once wasn’t.

Just because there are more seats available now and everyone is getting offered one, it doesn’t make it right to suddenly make it an old boys‘ network where a certain few get to keep it in the family.

If someone had been able to just pass their season ticket down to a family member before me, I would’ve been angry as hell. Why did they deserve it more than me? I was the one dutifully paying my dues for so many years, grabbing the few available tickets here and there that were available, waiting patiently on the list…

Travelling from the States will be interesting and memorable.

I've a feeling Ange is going to restore pride in our badge/team.

COYS!!!

(Thanks Dad. This one is for you!)
Congrats, you will have no regrets.

Either just keep renewing and pass on the seat using ticket share or if using a mobile to gain entry find some techno wizard who can get the QR code to open on your daughters phone, never known an ID check yet at the turnstiles so that shouldn't be a worry.

If the QR code works for paper tickets, would a screenshot not also work? Pretty sure there’s no ‘connectivity’ going on…
