I was 65k on waiting list and managed to get one. didnt think i would ever own a season ticket tbh so Im well chuffed :D. I know this is probably a dumb question but presumably if i list a game on the ticket exchange and it doesn't sell, then I can still use it or gift to someone in my network before kickoff?

my son and I were offered yesterday, and we only re-joined as members in order to avoid over-paying for Newcastle tix when home over Easter. Disappointing to see the wait list melt, but being a selfish bastard, I look forward to snapping a couple up next summer when I return to work in London!

Yep you can - even when youve listed it youre able to withdraw the listing at anytime so always in control. Not sure what happens at cut off a few hours before kick off as id always withdrawn mine from sale (if not sold) before then.

80-odd thousand on the waiting list but offered a ticket… The list is fake right?
Think when push comes to shove people declining the opportunity fall into two camps.

1 - Price point is very high and particularly if only being offered an 1882 ticket
2 - It’s quite a big commitment making it up to every game.

Personally I love it but I can see why many would be happy to stay on the membership side and cherry pick games they want to go to.

It was never really a wait list for season tickets though was it. Every member automatically went on the 'list' whether they wanted one or not and most do not want.

I took one last season after being 50k on the list, and I was surprised but thought it was down to Covid and the fact people had got used to not going to games, IPTV, plus the Nuno debacle. I'm more than surprised, with the investment and UCL, it has dropped down so far again. We managed to move our seats from the Gods down the the middle of West upper. Cannot wait.

I also think it is down to the fact that, as a member, you can pretty much get tickets for any game you want bar the NLD (using Facebook groups and the Ticket Exchange). I did think of switching to this myself, but love the fact i have a season ticket. Some of the timings were a slog last year though, when you combined with Network Rail.

Looking like we are going to have a half decent season next season so having an ST will be a dii distinct advantage and shouldn’t be a problem moving tickets on with ticket exchange, especially as we should have more Saturday kick offs, certainly when Woolwich are at home that weekend as they play Sundays now for some reason.

I gave up my Premium membership in March and asked about converting to an ordinary ST. The ‘Relationship Manager’ said the waiting list was ‘north of 70,000’. I can’t see how that tallies with empty seats at pretty much every game, apart from the NLD.

ST all sold out last season. Empty seats are simply ST holders not going and unable to sell on exchange or didn’t bother putting on exchange. Last season was pretty odd and we kind of fumbled through. There wasn’t a real feel good factor probably till end of season.

Not strictly on topic but not sure where to post. Any idea when the on sale dates for tickets will be available?

Only 35/40k or so are ST. The rest are for memberships/general sale. No idea what you mean by fumbled through, we were pretty damn great from Jan onwards.

I spoke to the club about the allocation. They said 42k ST, 8k corporate/Premium, 6k away team (PL) and the remainder go to One Hotspur/General sale.

Southampton taking the piss
Thing is that this is ‘most expensive ticket’ so gives little context around what’s included with that.

For all we know the Southampton one could include a hot tub with the player WAGs during the game

Away allocation is 3000
“Away fans in the EPL normally get access to 3,000 tickets per game, or 10% of stadium capacity if greater than 30,000 seats”
