Looks like we are not the only ones with early renewal date , no mention in the pricing if there is a reduction for Championship football. :)

  • Everton Season Ticket Members can now secure their seat at Goodison Park for 2022/23. Season Ticket Members will have until 5pm on Friday 29 April to renew ...

We had the same situation years ago, we had to renew while we were in danger of relegation, I emailed the club asking if there's be a partial refund if we were relegated, I didn't even get a response.

Sames as when they charged me a fiver each for registered delivery for our season ticket books and put both in one envelope. I emailed twice, the emails were read and ignored. I dug my heels in, went to a BBC consumer show and they got in touch with them, Spurs put it down to a clerical error and refunded a fiver.

It's the contempt for their loyal fans I can't stand any longer. I haven't renewed this year after the managerial appointment shenanigans last close season and the ESL fiasco. They've lost me.

They haven’t quite lost me yet Navin, I haven’t renewed but will get a membership, for me the love for the part of the club that walks out onto the pitch is definitely not matched by the rest of the club and even less so for the premier league. I get we have a fantastic new stadium and everything that goes with it but for me the jury’s out as to whether it’s worth it. But then I am a moany old git which seems to only be getting worse…?

Yes, they may, but the fans have all renewed already. ST's sold out for next season (info from work mate who is lifelong 60yrs blue).

They are a very faithfull lot Evertonians , if we had their prices we would sell out as well , two that caught my eye, over 90's get a free season ticket , over 65's £330 anywhere in the stadium , debateable if they can carry that on into the new stadium but that is a fan friendly football club.

" Following the closure of renewals, all supporters that have submitted a relocation request form will be invited to go online and select an alternative seat - at this time, you will also be able to request relocations on behalf of other supporters, as long as you are at Managed Level within their ‘My Network’.

If there are large numbers of requests submitted, supporters will be invited to view potential relocation options online in order of the dates forms were submitted. Supporters are advised that priority will be given to those needing to relocate on medical grounds."

Am assuming that seat relocations will be offered before non-renewed ST's are offered to the waiting list otherwise there would be no chance of getting a better seat and first in the queue if you renewed early. According to the last ticketing points table there were 40,978 ST holders what percentage will renew ?

This is basically the same thing they said last year, but again you have to renew before you relocated.

As with what others have mentioned last year there was next to nothing made available for relocation and im another who was on the fence til the last minute but having this same process in place again (renew first relocate later) opted against.

Seems to me that theres enough tickets on exchange to get to a good few games a season and also that wanting to get a season ticket a season or two later should there be a change of heart isnt going to be a massive issue with waiting list numbers.

But what are the club to do, bud?

You/we all want our club to be as successful as possible and, unlike the racist lot from down the road, or the nicely greased up Man City, we don't have a billionaire willing to pump in, well Billions.

But you want us to be active in transfer markets. Where does that money come from? Yep, TV rights & other endorsements outside of the club itself.

Sorry mate, but this "true fan" thing is just a stick that's used to claim some sort of superiority by those (very lucky) people who have paid good money to follow the club.

I've said countless times, I'd give absolutely fucking anything to be in any of your positions. You're lucky as fuck!

But whether you like or not, tv exposure is right now, and is going to be the future.

It would be downright fucking absurd if the club wasn't keeping up with that.

Between August 2001 and now, excluding games affected by Covid restrictions, I've not attended 1 game (when I was arrested for being drunk at the turnstile?) including friendlies. I've seen Spurs in around 130 cities in 40 countries in 5 continents. It's not however lucky. I've worked very hard to afford it and put the rest of my life (family, work and social) around attending games which is tough. Whilst I've been unwell at many games the only lucky bit is not being ill enough to have needed to miss one although that will happen one day.

The Club and top flight football in general only care about the TV viewers but that's up to them. I attend regardless and have never paid to watch football on TV and probably never will. I know Spurs couldn't care less about me (indeed I know that some of the directors would rather people like me didn't attend regularly) but again that's up to them.

I have wanted ENIC out for many years but I also know they're going nowhere. I don't spend a penny, other than on tickets (e.g. nothing in the shops or online or in the ground) and whilst that makes no difference in the grand scheme of things it's what I choose to do. One day when I've had enough I'll just walk away - and I don't mean to watching Spurs on TV but completely.

I have a fair bit of balance on my accoutn due to selling tickets on ticket exchange - anyone elses at zero at the moment? They wouldnt let me offset the credit balance with the season ticket cost - which is absurd but not really hurting me although can imagine it hurts others and respect that. Just pisses me off.
Yeah, I had a few quid in balance and seemed odd I couldn't credit vs renewal. But simply did a withdrawal and that turned up in my bank account next day, so same net effect..

One big reason I gave mine up is that senior tickets are all in such poor or hard to get to spaces

Not all I’m in the third row south upper and it’s brilliant to get out after the game.
To me the worst is all the steps outside ?

Mine is showing at 0 at the moment, though I’ve had to sell some recent tickets due to financial difficulties so I do have funds there somewhere (I hope ?) and I’m not renewing due to that reason. It says in the FAQs that the funds won’t be available til after the renewal deadline… which I thought was Friday last week, so I was surprised when I checked today to try and get that money that it still shows as 0. Probably me misinterpreting it.

It certainly would. The price of things at the moment is hammering me, so if they could make it available soon that would be great!
