Because the club needs us now more than ever myself and my sons have renewed . I dont expect to challenge the uber rich but I will be hoping for a manager who plays possession based attacking football with an identifying style of play that we can all enjoy .
I would settle for that until some uber rich man/ company comes along to fund us with the type of money it takes to compete with City and Chelsea . The rest are reachable and always have been .

Unfortunately in the great scheme of things the club needs US less than ever

The multi billionaire owner would prefer to fill the ground with tourists and would make a lot more money with a ESL and our fan base focused more to the American & Chinese market

Sadly we matter less than ever and so does silverware otherwise you wouldn’t sack one of the most successful managers ever a week before a cup final and put a little boy in charge

How are ST holders feeling at the moment?

I renewed just before the ESL stuff but I’m not feeling excited about the prospect of next season as it stands.

Obviously a summer with a new manager and new signings could change that but the way I’m feeling at the moment is that I won’t bother with any Europa group games against shit teams for example.

I always used to go to every single game but I won’t this season. I’d probably also sell my ticket to any midweek games against teams like Burnley and just watch at home.

I’ve had my ST since 2006 and I don’t think I’ve ever felt this disconnected to the club.
This is the first time I have ever (in the long time I have had a season ticket) questioned whether the money is justifiable. I very luckily can afford it, but I was sitting there looking at the cost of renewing and I couldn't bring myself at that point to do so. Every other season ever I've just done it without a second's thought. Now I'm not so sure. Pretty sure I will renew but I'll need to get comfortable with the idea.

If we are not all feeling like absolute mugs this morning then you either haven’t been a ST ticket holder long enough or you need sectioning

Tough time for us fans, but we should hang in there.
I doubt very much the stadium will open up 100% in August so there will be an opportunity to roll over some games as credit.

I'm really not sure. I have 2 quite expensive season tickets for me and my son, and I applied to move somewhere cheaper, but they eventually came back and just said no it wasn't possible. Even though everyone else I know who applied to move, was moved. I guess because they don't want people moving to less expensive seats.

I've been going every week since 1987 but I don't really enjoy it much any more. I did go with my dad up until 2 years ago and he passed away. I thought going with my kid would make it all worthwhile but tbh he's not really into Tottenham like I was at the same age.

The fact the club is an absolute clown show isn't helping. I'm giving real consideration as to what to do.

I have only had a ST for 3 years but attended pretty much all the games as a member since about 1990. I know i will eventually renew mine and my sons tickets before the deadline but like you will be looking to miss midweek games etc and will stay away from the Europa league too. I just wondered with the new ID system etc how easy will to be to sell on our tickets for future games?

I have also decided that I am no longer going to spend any money whatsoever in the club shop or in the stadium. We have been fleeced for far too long and the owners have shown their priorities lie in making as much money as possible and reinvesting very little back into the team.

Not spending money in stadium is the best way to get ENIC attention and the way forward I feel.

So difficult to justify.

Thinking back to when we were going should bring back great memories but all I can remember is the Nazi stewards moaning at us to sit down.

Will probably renew on the basis that I waited so long to get one and that it’s not worth letting it go now as things will get better and I should be able to get away with missing a fair few games as stadium probably won’t be at full capacity but will be a last minute purchase for sure.

I made that decision a few years ago. The only money they get from me is my season ticket.
I rarely bought food or drink anyway but when we moved house a few years ago I had so many programmes I decided to stop buying them as well. I take a bottle in with me and fill at the water fountain.

In fairness to them, the beers in the stadium are about the cheapest in the area on match days.

I have never seen a problem with how much they charge for anything because if you dont like the prices then dont buy the product that includes season tickets .I wavered for a bit on the season ticket but after talking with my sons I decided that if and its a big if I know but if things turned around and we managed to get the right man in charge and started playing the way most fans want . Then I would be on the outside looking in and considering what great times I have had on occasions following spurs I would not want to miss out and in all probability never get the chance of a season ticket again .

I will renew, but I will leave it until the last minute. Those bastards aren't going to earn interest on my cash until I can help it no longer.

'If you don't like the product don't pay the prices' is ok for trainers or whatnot but doesn't apply for football season tickets. People are emotionally beholden to their clubs, especially if they've been going for years, and are fearful about being booted to the back of the ST waiting list if they don't renew. Clubs should offer prices that are fair and appropriate to the community, not try to scrape every last penny out of the fanbase. And if the club is unable to offer a top level football experience while charging top level prices, then they should consider altering these prices accordingly.

Im alright Jack!!!

This product has been established since 1882

My great grandfather went as did my grandad my dad and now me

Generations of supporters have followed their clubs and now because the game has been hijacked by media moguls and billionaires so many ordinary fans have been priced out

Most of these 'legacy fans' will be extinct soon and all that will be left is a soulless experience

Pipe in the atmosphere for good. CGI the crowd and let us keep our money before it’s too late and the World league takes over

Thanks ??

Any body that thinks its easy for me to find the cash for a ticket is in fantasy land .
My point is moaning about the prices is a useless action . I dont like the prices and find it difficult to fund .
The club are not going to lower prices IMO. So either as I do find the money or do not find the money and give up your seat .
Moaning about prices is a useless exercise albeit a correct argument .

Im about to drop £1525 for a ticket.

Im not really moaning about the price but anyone moaning i think theyre right to do so. We pay the most expensive ticket prices int he world - i mean let that sink in. We still pay it though but when people have a go at other fans for moaning about the football or the manager or whatever just remember we pay the most expensive and think they are entitled to moan... its not self entitlement in a spoilt way but more a way that says - are we being taken advantage of.
