I appreciate people are in different positions, but I don't see how this is too unreasonable? The Government roadmap indicates all social restrictions will be gone about 2 months before the season starts. If world goes tits up again you're refunded accordingly, and if you can't go you're asked to contact them, which I assume is to find a solution. It's a massive ship they're steering through some rough waters, I'm not sure what more a company that size can be expected to plan by?

Prices are frozen and I have 1/3 of the price as account balance (included the 20 % I "paid" for free last season with the account balance). I say happy days.

My email didn't mention anything like that - did you get it because you're in those rows?

I'm moving to safe standing (row 5 of south stand) so I'm assuming they already had the bars and that's why they haven't mentioned it
It was a separate email. I'm just in that area. I'm sure they didn't think it was worth telling everyone.

Many have lost jobs or are short of money due to the pandemic and have pay all upfront by 3rd June. They will refund prorata if stadium is not at full capacity and you can’t go (which may be all season). It’s a lot of money for a lot people to loan to a company.

They've also just emailed me, rows 71-82 of the south stand have had the standing bars installed. They said if it does become standing kids will have to relocate
I thought standing rail was only up to row 29?

I don't think i'm going to be able to renew this year - do you think we'll get the 20% renewal fee from last year back as it doesn't say much about that? Just that it will be removed from this years fee and if you don't want to renew just let the June 3rd deadline pass?

Nor sure, all I could see was this...

What if I am unable to return to the Stadium in 2021/22?
Season Ticket Holders who are unable to return to the Stadium next season are advised to contact us directly.

Suppose you'd have to ask them, mate.

Thanks, I'll send them an email and ask.

Just for reference for anyone else who is thinking of not renewing - i received the following back from Club re refund of 20% renewal fee from 2020/21 -
If you choose to not renew you season ticket you will be refunded the 20% which you have paid for this season. These refunds will take place once our renewals period has been completed.

How long do you reckon the wait will be if you give it up and then want to rejoin in a couple of years? Waited 10 years at the old WHL, had 2 years at Wembley and then one not full season at the new whl. So tough to give it up given it doesn’t even feel like home yet but in the uncertain times and horrible football on show I’m weighing it up.

sorry to hear this mate, I had my season ticket for 20+ years but also had to give it up a couple of years back as we moved abroad.

It’s not as bad as you’ll think it is and will soon get into a new routine and for me when I’ve been able to get back to the odd game it’s made it even more enjoyable ?

Reckon they've given themselves just enough time to sack Mourinho and reap the rewards of season ticket renewals - that is if the "roadmap" remains unaltered.

Still think it's incredible cheeky to ask for full payment whilst we're still in some form of lockdown! (Also painfully doesn't consider what 21 June actually is, not an instant return to normality but very much still a socially distanced one).
They should have given an option for instalment payments outside of the V12 finance, which will still go through credit check processes. Some of us have been very fortunate with our jobs over the pandemic period and can still either pay fully or go through a financing option because we have a provable income, but there are going to be people who could cover the cost over time but may fail a financing option and the door will be shut to them.

The Supporter's Trust raised this specifically but it seems to have been ignored. Disappointing.

Having no live football for over 12 months most of us already have a ‘new’ routine ?.
I certainly haven’t missed the late night journey home after a midweek game!

I completely forgot it was today. I think I'll give it until the season ends. Keep them sweating! :ROFLMAO:

In one way the pandemic has done them a favour. Everyone is so keen to get back to some sort of normality that the mess we find ourselves in ( with potentially worse to come if Kane leaves) probably won’t affect ST sales this time.

A couple of years of mid table mediocrity and COVID sliding into memory though might not be the same.... and ultimately I don’t think they’ll be that bothered until the stadium starts seeing a downturn of attendances.

Renewed, as much as I say that’s the final straw, I always end up renewing again. Look forward to making same fake threats again this time next year

My love for the club has overridden my dislike and mistrust of Jose and I must say bordering on hatred and have along with my sons renewed . My reason for the bad feelings toward Jose is he has brought me to being indifferent to our matches and not bothered whether I watch the games or not . In the past I have always but always good or bad been impatient for the next game .

I did the amnesty but have not been given the credit to my new account. I have at least another day to wait before I renew my two tickets.
I waited 20 years to get season tickets, now I am close to retirement and can travel to London regularly once the Covid restrictions are lifted, I am not giving them up now.
