Obviously we are showing interest but i did listen to Radio and the scottish reporter said spurs fans will learn absolutely nothing from this game as it will be defence vs attack for 99% of the game. And that is what is happening.

Kyogo is so clever. Can definitely play a much higher level.

He's got good movement off the ball to find space. Would be a good fit for a club like Brighton or Brentford. It'd be a good level to test him at.

Sadly his price tag triples if it goes well.

He looks very decent to me.

My god the quality is so bad. Can't learn anything from this
Was never going to be a classic. Inverness are a championship side so it was always going to be 11 men behind the ball etc.

It’s so hard to know what to expect from Postecoglou if he comes here

Inverness tiring in "the heat", some tired challenges there and Celtic just too good.

Game over - unless Ange really is proper Spurs and finds a way to let them back into this.

Tbh I don't think anyone can predict anything based on anything he's done previous let alone on this game. It all depends whether what he does can translate up at least a couple more levels. If it can we will be fine, but it's quite an ask imo.

It's crazy how we all love to say the EPL is the strongest league in the world and then underestimate the step up in competition from any other league.

Conte's achievements in the Serie A were pretty much written off in comparison, so what should we do with AP's in Scotland?

Had to go to page 4 to find comments on the SPL, understandably so.

There’s no other footy available at the mo on at this time so I find myself watching Celtic. It’s on sky sports though I imagine it’s also on the Disney channel with all the other Mickey Mouse stuff.

I’m being mean of course, and it’s scratching a football itch whilst it’s pouring outside. Plus this is the one horse race we rescued Ange from so I guess there’s that.

What I will say, one thing I do truly admire about the Scottish league, the commentators, the presenters, literally everyone involved is talking about what the new season might bring, and what challengers might step up and how things might change… and I have to say, they’ve all kept their faces completely straight, like we don’t all know it’ll be Celtic winning it again. It’s actually genuinely impressive.

The pre match btw was the Celtic captain raising a flag, and showing of all of last seasons Scottish footballs trophies which were all won, funnily enough, by Celtic.

Brendan meanwhile is back on the touchline and keeps scribbling notes, I can only imagine with ideas of what he’ll spend the league winners bonus on.

Looking forward to more reviews of Scottish football this year, and the best thing is we don’t even need to change the thread title, in about nine months we can all just say “as above” nice!
