Holy sh*t, some of the goals in this video are insane. Recoba-esque left foot. Especially with how he strikes dead balls.

EDIT: PLEASE SIGN HIM UP. HE CAN ACTUALLY SCORE FROM A FREEKICK!!!

Some left peg worth buying just for the set pieces alone

Left foot ball striking easily top 3 in Europe. A true rocket. Elite set piece taker. Underrated creatively and is also great with disguise. Above average final third creator without being amazing there. Sturdy on the ball and a hard worker. Average athlete. It’s the ball striking that we’d surely be getting him for. Power, bend, accurate from all areas of the pitch in all situations. Has played plenty in Kulusevski’s role for Gasperini. Experienced and from a league Conte and Paratici know inside and out. Not the carrier or the athlete Zaniolo is, but there’s no comparing the goal and assist output; Malinovskyi dominates.

Even if its as an option from the bench ... that's a pretty spectacular option to have... that's a showreel and a half. He doesn't do tap ins does he?

Since I had him in my fantasy team in the Euros, I consider myself somewhat of an expert on him :pompous:.

From what I recall he looked really classy and had some amazing shots but the fucker got me like no points and missed a penalty.

Take from that what you will.

Sounds like he'd fit right in lol

Never seen him play but wow, based on those clips what a shot! He’s going to know Romero so would make adapting easier

I’d be amazed if he wasn’t in addition to a Zaniolo type. I’d take him as a little extra rotation, defo gives us another option.

Sounds like a pretty ideal rotational/backup option for Kulusevski. Not got the youth (and thus potential sell-on value) of someone like Zaniolo, but presumably a lot cheaper and less risky.

Also given his age, and the fact he's rotated regularly at Atalanta anyway - who incidentally don't have CL this season - he would fit in to the squad quite naturally without expecting to play every minute.

According to reddit his wife has followed Conte on Instagram few minutes ago, welcome Ruslan! Can stamp this one already.

The local outlets who normally break these kind of transfers seem to be pretty accurate.

Could see this moving pretty quickly.

Really? Seems to me like he's clearly a fall back option now that the Zaniolo deal is on the rocks.

Different style of player but can't see us bringing in 2 more attackers this window.

Wonder if he would play as an inside 10, a CM, or as a third CM in 352. I guess he could do all three based on the opponent, with it unlikely he could play as a DM in a harder match. He probably could come on to play CM if we're chasing one though.

His contract is up next summer according to Transfermarkt. Loan with option to buy sounds good in that case.

Just from in depth YouTube scouting stylistically his dribbling looks very similar to Kulusevski. Can see why he’s been chosen as an option to back up and rotate with Kulu. If a side is parking the bus having a guy with a rocket of a shot could be quite useful off the bench. Experienced too, makes a lot of sense this one.

I mean imo I don’t see the point in targeting a specific skill set then a complete different one as a back up?
Conte and Paratici might see it completely different however.
