They were a great side: Paul Cooper;,Mick Mills ,George Burley, Russell Osman, Terry Butcher, Frank Thyssen Arnold Muhren, John Wark, Eric Gates, Alan Brazil and Paul Mariner. Should have won the league a couple of times. RIP

indeed. Household names for many of a certain age.

I can imagine Brazil sharing some stories in the coming days on TalkSport most notably involving booze.

Such a shame. Local legend down here left Plymouth for Ipswich but often came back and managed them for a while. RIP Paul Mariner.
