Richarlison skipped onto the Goodison Park turf at the sound of the final whistle, his beaming smile of relief an antidote to the pain shooting through his right adductor. The Brazilian had been the chief driving force in dragging Everton to safety during those fraught final few weeks of the season, with the club staring down the barrel of a first relegation since 1951.

I think he gives us a lot of options up front. He's direct cover for Kane when he gets his inevitable knock. He also allows Kane to drop into the hole without losing a proper striker, and he can also allow Kulusevski to do the same and play 3 up top with Sonny and Kane. I think that's a whole load of tactical flexibility for 1 player to bring in.
