He’s already said that he has a career plan. That’s great for him. But if he has his sights set higher than us then he should make sure his form reaches those heights too. Otherwise he’ll burn his bridges and find he’s not as sought after elsewhere as he’d imagined. He is a great player, but is he in the elite?
I think he is in the elite if he gives 100%. I watched him play yesterday for Denmark against Georgia. It was a different player to what we had seen last season for Spurs in the application.

Hi
Newbie here

CE fan and really rate him

Focused he’s one of the best midfielders around

I’m hoping Levy can now give him the salary he deserves even if it approaches parity with Kane

It hasn’t been his best season for us but still one of our better performers

Good. He is this decades Michael Carrick, as in if he goes, we will only then see quite how important he is for us.

Premature calls to ship him out have been ludicrous.

Yes I liked Michael and was gutted that he went to ManU

We just can’t strengthen our rivals

I can’t understand ZZ in that I would much prefer CE to Pogpa

Pogpa’s attitude is atrocious although I concede that he is a very good player and superb athlete

IMO lack of new faces and running our best players into the ground was a key part of things becoming so stale last season. The whole team dipped below par with a couple of exceptions, so I can excuse Eriksen being off the pace. A few new faces and some proper competition for places will hopefully see a big turn around, and hopefully Eriksen will be right at the heart of it.

Yes agree

Players like Sissoko were exhausted by the end of the season and imo one of our biggest problems was our options off the bench compared to our top six rivals
Of course we were unlucky with injuries and all things considered we did very well to qualify for next seasons CL and got to this years final

CE staying with some additions would be pivotal to a decent title challenge next season

I’ve never been a Trippier fan although I concede he gives 100% so a new RB is needed as a priority as Aurier always worries me when in possession or going into a tackle

It's hard to argue that there was not only Eriksen who dropped a bit in their performance. 19 defeats in a season it's too much.

I really rate Lo Celso but if it was between selling Eriksen and signing Lo Celso for around 70M or not buying Lo Celso but Eriksen stays and signs a new contract I would chose the second option. As good as Lo Celso is and how high his potential is he’s currently nowhere near Eriksen level, top 3 AM in the world

I want a Spurs player who is running eagerly towards the entrance...not obviously looking for the exit door...so I have to disagree.

But he's been a key part
for five years or more
of the team and the project
and for at least two of those
on less than he could get elsewhere.
Threaten him with money.
it will be a lot less
than a comparable replacement.

An example of atrocious attitude. Pogba has become the scapegoat for all United's ills.

He certainly doesn’t help himself though

I found it amazing that Jones got a new contract

I will be surprised if they get into top six and if Ole lasts until Xmas

There is an article on Sky sports claiming Pogba will go on strike to force a move to Barcelona.....really ???

The media is really trash
