Ramos Wants Sevilla Duo

Sun 28 Oct, 01:09 PM

Juande Ramos wants Sevilla wing-back Daniel Alves and striker Fredi Kanoute to follow him to Tottenham.
The Spaniard, 53, resigned as Sevilla boss on Friday night and was named as Spurs' head coach on Saturday in the wake of Martin Jol's dismissal.
And he is already looking to bolster a squad with European ambitions but currently struggling at the wrong end of the Premier League table.
Alves is one of the hottest properties in Europe and was the subject of a bid from Chelsea in the summer while Kanoute left Spurs to join Sevilla two years ago and has fired them to successive UEFA Cup final victories.
And Ramos would love to be reunited with the duo at White Hart Lane.
He told the News of the World: "I'd like to sign Alves and Kanoute.
"These two players would be sensational for any club in the world but I'm not sure if Sevilla will accept it."
Ramos' raids on Sevilla may not end with Alves and Kanoute, though, as he is also being linked with swoops for goalkeeper Andres Palop and defender Julien Escude.

I think there are other positions that need looked after more than right/wing back and striker. We still, even after 2 years of crying out for this need a left winger and a hard tackling defensive midfielder to break up play. This is what Ramos should be focussing on rather than strengthening positions that aren't too bad.

Alves would be unreal tho.

Alves would be great but would cost too much. Not too sure about Kanoute we have 4 strikers already that need to be given a chance.
