question about ITKs

why is ITK bashing not allowed? I dont want to particularly bash anyone, but I dont understand why they are off limits. Serious question. Im trying to understand this place better.

Pure and simple, you bash them, they get upset, they stop posting their info, everyone loses out.

If people with genuine ITK are getting criticised, they're going to stop posting pretty quickly. There are clearly a couple of WUMS that make it into the RO on a regular basis these days, but as I came to realise, singling them out and criticising them directly could also put off someone with genuine ITK who is thinking about sharing.

Best to just avoid bashing specific posters anyway, but I do think it would be helpful if the mods were more proactive in removing the WUMS pretending to be ITK. The latter are insulting their fellow fans, and IMO shouldn't be allowed on the forum, let alone the RO.
