Good business by Levy yet again. Would be foolish to sell him on today’s market.

Come August deadline we are hopefully on the right side of the pandemics, and then the prices will be back at “normal”.

I think there's a clue to the accuracy of the article when it says we're looking at the possibility of PSG letting us have Paredes or Eriksen. Errrr...............right.

I was thinking that maybe they were referring to Inter as well but there is no mention of them. That's a bit embarrassing for Eurosport. It's not like some fansite.

If he's not playing it makes sense to get him some gametime, but also get him away from London and live in a different culture for a bit. He might just blossom and come back with a fresh perspective.

Pretty sure Levy knows that Jose probably isn't going to be a long term solution, so wants to keep Dele on the books as the next guy might play him more.

It all makes sense, except we'll be short of an attacking midfielder unless we bring in someone else who will actually strengthen the squad. Hopefully there will at least be another incoming loan.

Against better opposition how many minutes was he getting though? I mean we're pretty much past the cannon fodder stage of the season so I'm not sure he'd have played much at all if he stays. Imo Jose would just shuffle his pack, rather than play Dele if he's not hitting mourinho's required output standards.

I know people will be concerned about a replacement but I can't see us signing a British trained player and we are still full as far as the international spots are concerned.

Imo if he goes it's just to get a player who won't be playing off the wage bill for 6 months.

I agree, that makes total sense from a financial point of view (and would be good man-management as well), but if Tanguy turns his ankle tonight we have no attacking midfielder seeing as Gio is still out. Not sure if Dele would be picked in that case, but I think he would. Signing expensive players as squad players can seem pointless, but if you have a couple of injuries in the same position you're only as good as your quality in depth.

Draxler also mentioned alongside Idrissa Gueye. I would not mind that tbh
