Premier League Predictor 22/23

Just wanted to see if there’s any interest in doing a league predictor for the coming season. I know people do predictions for Spurs matches but this is different.

At the start of the season you predict the premier league table, fa cup winner, league cup winner, golden boot winner, golden glove winner and first manager sacked. At the end of the season points are awarded like this:
- 3 points per team for a correct league placing
- 2 points per team when you’re only off by 1 position
- 1 point per team when you’re off by 2 positions
- 5 points each for correct cup winners, gg, gb and sack race.

Fancy it? Would probably just be for fun (unless the mods agreed to hold the funds but I’d imagine that’s unlikely)

I would enter. It is the kind of thing I'd like to do, and doesn't require weekly or multi-weekly like the Spurs Prediction Thread which I just could not hang with due to how busy life is when I ran it

Ah cool. I might give that one a go but all the other leagues are a bit much considering I don’t really watch them.

I’ll still do this one as the league predictions keep you honest.

I think this is about as close to the start of the season as I can manage while still giving everyone a chance to get theirs done. I didn't want to do it too early as big transfers might change your thoughts...

Here's the link to the spreadsheet. Save your own copy as per the instructions, complete your predictions and then send me a link via PM by 6pm Friday 5th August.

If you're having issues with the google sheet, let me know and we can sort something else out - I just wanted to keep predictions a secret where possible.
